Amazing cheap alternative to DMC -
Great set of threads! Bought these as a more affordable alternative to DMC for cross-stitch, and I’m really impressed. Each thread is numbered exactly like DMC, making it super easy to match and complete patterns without hassle. The colors are absolutely gorgeous, and the quality is fantastic for the price. I’ll definitely be buying again in the future!

Amazing variety and quality!
Absolutely thrilled with this! As a new embroiderer I wanted a large collection of colours to start using in projects.Firstly, the value for money of these is amazing. I saw some reviews that said they didn’t receive the right amount as advertised but mine had hundreds of skeins! They’re all very strong and seem high quality. The skeins are organised in numerical order and match almost exactly the DMC shades which makes converting easy. Furthermore the range of colours is very impressive! It has vibrant hues and subtle pastels and comes in three separate packages so I’m able to easily find the perfect shade.I didn’t check the length of thread with a measuring tape but it seems as advertised. Long skeins with 6 threads that are easy to split to get more out of your bundle.

Incredible value for money
The value for money of this set is genuinely amazing. You get ALMOST every colour you need. The thread is good quality, very silky, doesn’t knot when in use and looks good in cross-stitch and embroidery pieces. But the selection is WIDE. You need somewhere to put it, so bear that in mind first!!

Don’t expect Anchor or DMC.
Anyway. I’d give this pack of threads a great recommendation because there’s masses and masses with every colour under the sun. Not being a major brand, the ends fray and fluff a little making them difficult to thread. A lot of sucking and trimming of straggly ends is required. But it’s a beautiful collection of colours.Only other downside is that, not being anchor or Dmc, the skeins are held together by only one wrap. The upscale brands have two wrap bands. This causes the skeins to become a bit difficult to separate into their ‘round the hand’ position when you want to wrap the skeins onto the bobbins. It’s hard to do this easily without knots because the loops of the skeins are not tidy or well defined. You will find knotting common. Once you’ve nailed the technique of unwinding carefully it gets easier to wind onto bobbins. All in all…..they’re rather inexpensive for a lot of beautiful product.

Super value
My wife is very pleased with these. Super value. This quantity of real DMC or Anchor cottons would probably cost hundreds of pounds! The cottons have shade numbers that appear to correspond to the DMC numbers (we aren't sure as she's usually an Anchor user, so we don't have many DMC for comparison, but they look like DMC numbers). My wife's only reservation, & it's a small one given the huge value, is that she's not fully convinced they are cotton, based on feel & what happens if you dampen an end for threading. The big test will come when she tries to dye some of the colours that are of less interest to her. However, even if that test fails, she says she'd still be very happy with the purchase, would not drop it from 5 stars.Edit to add: My wife has now done a 'dye' test. She took a light coloured sample from this pack and a similarly coloured sample of genuine Anchor cotton and placed both is some dye designed for use with cotton. When the two samples were removed & rinsed, the Anchor had dyed perfectly, but the sample from this pack was merely stained, with most of the dye washing out. Our conclusion is that these threads are indeed not made from cotton. However, as stated previously, she still rates the purchase as 5 stars as the thread is such good value, and perfectly fine for most purposes.

Super pleased with it. So many colours
I am lucky that I found a good product without having any knowledge of embroidery threads. Wanted to take it up as hobby(Pictures attached is my embroidery desk with product organised in it this is not how the product comes refer to the pic only for the quantity )Really good quality thread,HUGE amounts of threads.Such a massive variety of shades for each colour.Every floss is colour coded. Each thread is made out of 6 really good quality thread.GREAT VALUE for money. As a beginner I am super pleased. The only con was they all came unorganised one one bag so took me ages to separate the colour groups. They weren’t tangled or anything just unorganised.

Surprisingly good quality, would buy again
I took a chance on this product, thinking maybe the thread wasn't top quality but would do for an embroidery novice. But it's surprisingly good quality, especially for the price. You get a huge range of colours. If you're a highly accomplished Royal School of Needlework type stitcher, you might prefer to go for an established brand like DMC, but especially for beginners or those on a tight budget these threads are ideal. Would buy again.
