This was the one I'd been searching for! It's a bit taller than most, not as wide. Perfect fit for the 13 gal trash bags we use. It's very attractive. So far works perfectly. Soft close, easy pedal for opening, easy to clean both inside & out as it has a solid liner (important to me as I like to remove the liner to take outside to wash it out as needed. The price was very reasonable, especially compared to some products which were very pricey - some between $150-200 which is more than I was willing to spend. Solid purchase, looks nice in my very small kitchen.

A few months ago, I bought a Glad plastic trash can for my kitchen. Big mistake. The can sucks. It has a step pedal as well and any time you use the pedal it moves the trash can around because it’s plastic. With that being said, I love this Amazon trash can. It’s sturdy and I really like the insert. In our previous trash can, if anything leaked we would have to take the whole can outside and rinse/wash it out. With this one, you can simply remove the insert and wash it out. Much easier. When you step on the pedal it doesn’t move around the can. The lid does have soft close and it seems to be working good so far, if you open the lid all the way it will stay open. The trash bag is not visible from the outside. I will say it isn’t very “smudge proof” but that doesn’t bother me, I just wipe it down every once in a while. Overall so far, 5/5 stars. Not bad price, either.

This is a perfect size. Bags are easy to remove. Great quality. No motion or battery involved. Silver is classic color. Lid is closed for dog proof.

Only real improvements i would suggest to this design would be a slight handle space on the sides for lifting the interior section out when pulling out heavier bags. It looks great just wipe it down once a week to get finger prints off and it stays shiny, it keeps scents in well. the slam resistant lid prevents my cat from having a heart attack whenever we throw something away

Tinier than you think but for the price its about right! Maybe a tad bit cheaper than in store. But works well and just like a...well..Just like a trash can. Feels good quality and lid glides down when released, does not have a removable trash can insert but I find twisting the bag and tucking the tail under has fit snug and not moved!

Great looking and well build. Works great. Sturdy and solid

The media could not be loaded. Great look, goes great with my stainless steel fridge and microwave. Pretty adorable not bad and yes stainless steel do have fingerprints but it is not hard to wipe down. The insert could use a little more thought but all around nice can. My old plastic can had an extra ring with the lid that keeps the bag in place. This is not really the can fault this goes with many cans like these especially plastic ones if you have white walls and the lid slams against it it can damage the paint so I have to use a little box and put beyond the can to keep it from doing that. They should create like a little cushion to stop that from happening. The capacity is just right. The can does not have batteries nor a lock feature, just a plan jane can.
