Copic Marker 11788150-00001 Multi Liner Sp 0.5

I spent years using [a popular brand of felt-tip drawing] pen and thinking I was satisfied. I recently discovered to my dismay that once some of my original work ended up in the wild, they ink would smear if it was touched just right (greeting cards and whatnot). Waterproof and archival pen ink that smears? And this is a product I've somehow trusted for many, many years? I found that very frustrating.So, I went on a quest to find a replacement. A long time ago I had the privilege of using Rapidograph pens and loved the line they put down . . . but hated the mess and maintenance. I thought, surely there has to be a pen that's the best of both worlds: the quality line of Rapidographs with the ease-of-use of felt-tips; not to mention, a good balance on cost.Someone pointed me in the direction of Copic Multiliner SP's. I was hesitant to drop $8~$10 on one pen, but when I saw the relatively inexpensive replacement parts of this product--equaling savings and reduced waste over time, since I wouldn't be buying a whole new pen and tossing the old one every time--I decided to take the plunge.Once the pen arrived, I knew I'd made the right choice. Not only did the pen look amazing in real life, it fit in my hand like it was custom made for it. Gone was the light, plastic feeling of my old pen-of-choice. Instead, I get a nice-to-the-touch aluminum barrel that's not too light or to heavy.Then came the major test . . . how well does it actually work? The ink came out fast and fluid and put down a wonderful line that exceeded my expectations and needs. And just for fun, I ran water from the faucet all over the page for awhile and the ink stayed put! I rubbed it with my fingers (a LOT) and it still stayed in place. It would take destroying the actual paper to ever get the ink to come off.Bottom-line: It passed the drawing test, the waterproof test, and as a bonus, it was a joy just to hold. This pen is amazing and I want it in every size now.

I like the free-flowing ink and ease of use.

This is an awesome pen, it feels great and writes beautifully. I color with Copic markers and this pen does its job and doesn't smudge when I go over it with Copic markers. This nib was the perfect size for me it's not too thick and it's not too thin. The pen came in really fast and was worth every single penny.

Pro: refillable, replaceable tips with separate tool. Con: Metal barrel of pens can be crushed under foot if careless.

Bought a Copic Marker Multi Liner Sp 0.5 arrived with no issues a few days before the expected date.

Copic SP'S are top notch Professional markers! But shipping from these ppl is awful!
