Only done 10 connections so far but all is good, does what it's ment to with ease and quality is ok.

I'd been having with my existing RJ45 Crimp tool and just kept on trudging along with it only being able to half crimp the Cat6 cables first time then having to go again, this definitely solved this problem. Being able to flexibly change the type of Crimp i am doing by simply loosening a screw and slideing the depth was great and made for better crimps.I specifcally bought this set due to it being able to crimp shielded Cat6 cables with the little circular clamp. I have had issues where rather than cleanly crimping, it somewhat flattens the cable, now this may be because im Left Handed and a Right Handed person will have a better time than me - but it just felt to unnatural to do it right handed.If i first manually clamp the metal sheathing around the cable, then finish it off with this crimper, it gets the job done nicely and to a decent satisfaction.Its small enough to fit in a generic toolbox or in a backpack without taking up too much room either!Really happy with the product and definitely recommend

They are excellent or the task and I have purchase another use with CAT 7 and 8

Awesome product, A MUST HAVE IF YIU ARE USING CAT6A CONNECTORS, as you will never get a good crimp with standard rj45 crimpers. Perfect crimp everytime (I am a beginner, and networking my house for the first time)

Please note, this tool will only crimp your cables but will NOT also cut / trimming them flash to the connector, so if you use a pass through connector which is better, you must trim your cables to the correct length first before crimping.The best thing is to buy the one that will trim your cable at the same time when crimping !

Solid, compact and appears to make a decent electrical connection. Having spent years making up electrical & avionic cables I was able to see the process by which the tool did its job, which is just as well, because....... Putting myself in the position of a novice I have to say how disappointed I was with the inadequate instructions. A badly printed piece of paper about the size of a postcard and a truly rubbish video on the VCE website. I think they have gone to the factory and found the person with the cleanest pair of hands and got him to make a video, that he obviously doesn’t want to do and just get it over with as quickly as possible. For £40+ pounds people deserve proper guidance. Oh, and depending on the cable size, the cable clamp part to the tool is a waste of time, carefully use a pair of long-nosed pliers instead.

Works perfectly for cat6. Good strong crimp and precise hit on each pin. Design of the handle takes some getting used to, but is pretty comfortable when you’re used to it.

Does not have cutter to cut ecessive cable while clamping as other do

Fonctionne bien après un peu d'expérience.Dommage que cette pince ne coupe pas les fils après le certissage quand on utilise des RJ45 thru pass !
