These are high-quality items that will work well for dogs ranging from small to large (mine is only 13 pounds and these work great). They're also much less money than a service dog vest--and less bulky! A leash and tag are easier to use (since you'd need to use a leash anyway) than to put a vest on. And I get no questions wherever I go. I am aware, in any case, there are only two questions anyone can legally ask a person when it's unclear if an animal is a service dog: (1) is the dog a service animal required because of a disability? and (2) what work or task has the dog been trained to perform? I also have a prescription for a service animal, which I do carry (though people are not required to). The leash just makes things easier. If you're considering buying this service dog kit but are not sure if your dog would qualify as a service dog or as an emotional support animal, here's the difference: SERVICE DOG (or miniature horse) According to the Americans with Disabilities Act, a service dog can go into places the public normally goes (including restaurants, etc.). To qualify as a service dog, the animal has to be trained to perform some sort of work or task in service to the person with a disability. EMOTIONAL SUPPORT ANIMAL (ESA) An emotional support animal (ESA) can be any animal that provides emotional support and comfort to individuals with psychiatric disabilities and other mental impairments; the animal is not specifically trained to perform tasks for a person who suffers from emotional disabilities. Unlike a service animal, an ESA is not granted access to places of public accommodation. However, under the federal Fair Housing Act (FHA), an emotional support animal is viewed as a "reasonable accommodation" in a housing unit that otherwise has a "no pets" rule for its residents, and under the Air Carrier Access Act, an ESA can fly with you. IS THERE CROSSOVER? There can be. For example, a dog that is trained to calm a person with post-traumatic stress disorder may qualify as a service dog because it is trained to perform a task in service to a person with a disability. At the same time, it may also be providing emotional support and companionship, preventing PTSD episodes. A lot more information is available online. Very nice quality and size leash, the stitching is very good and strong, it has a good length to it so that there is plenty of slack for the dog to be able to use the rest room or just be able to relax as well, lanyard is a nice addition as well to secure either a badge or ID tag for yourself, it is made out of quality material and comes with an additional detachable clip for any other extra items such as keys, the tag is made for a small dog and is very tiny with a small clip but I already have custom tags with my service dogs name and id number on them, patch is made nicely as well i will be adding it to my dogs vest as well, packaging was nice and product was secure, the shipping was fast as well, i am very pleased and would recommend this item to anyone with a service dog

As this summer has been really hot and I must spend a lot of time outside I needed something to replace my service dog vest. I have already been about with it and have no issues with access. It is a decent heavy weight and better than some other leashes I have used. The lettering is very legible and does not appear to wear off as quick as other designs have in the past. I out the extra tag on my dogs collar as well. I havent found a use for the lanyard or patch yet but I have ideas and it was the same price with the extras as with just the leash, I like free things! Over all I think it was definitely worth the money!

This is a great set-up for your service dog's vest. Used them about a month now. The patch is embroidered, not velcro backed. I had looked at reviews for reflective patches, and the one complaint was the lettering ends up rubbing off. I plan on sewing this patch on his vest. The leash is heavy duty, reflective and well made. It is very well seen at night. The only reason I gave it four stars is because the dog tag and lanyard are not the deep red of the leash and patch., they are a little more towards an orange color. I use the lanyard around his neck and attach the tag and lanyard to his vest. (He is around thirty pounds) Overall, I love this set for the price. Great product.

This little kit is so handy! We have a small Chihuahua mix trained to provide emotional and behavioral support for children with Autism. Now that summer is here, our dog gets so hot when wearing his full gear. When we go for a quick walk around the neighborhood (which we do a lot!), he gets tired when weighted down with his full jacket. It is nice to be able grab the leash and go. Our dog already has a service dog collar, but it is easy to miss if you are not looking for it. People respond as well to the leash and collar combo as they do to the full harness. We worked with our dog so he understands that this is a work gear as much as the harness is, so he knows how to behave when in public. The leash is wide and sturdy. The print is easy to read, even from a distance. I don't need the other items just now, but I know they will come in handy.

This leash itself is very nice , strong sturdy material. The Free service dog that you sew on is great as well. The The other tag that clicks on the lanyard is super tiny. I read it was very cheap. I thought it was okay for its purpose but is tiny. That is the whole of it. If you want a strong leash for service dog I bet this one would work on large breeds well as it is very sturdy . Th ether stuff is nice Not sure what the lanyard is for really. The clip on it is confusing to me. UPDATE.. still using this leash and its great

I bought this product, probably 5 years ago. The lettering is showing some age. But all in all things do age with use so with that being said, the leash i have is still in great shape. And I've used the neck lanyard to mark hand made vests, cuz those wear out too! Thank you for a great product!

This set is really nice for the price but it's for a bigger dog, around 40lbs to 50lbs, somewhere in there. I got this for my Shiba Inu who is my PTSD dog and it should work perfectly fine. The leash is pretty big but I want people to see that she's working and stop the ride comments in stores that I have a dog with me. The patch is kinda big for her but it's nice either way. I know it sounds like I have a lot of complaints but don't let that turn you away. The quality is really nice for all of the products included and I'll make it work for my dog!
