how to open the closure?

You open that one by returning it. Amazon has really terrible shipping of this box and because the latch sticks out, somewhere it gets bent over to fit in the box. I had to return 2 boxes before I got one that was shipped correctly. It's a relatively nice box if it's not damaged in shipping.
