Marvelous Book
hi. i didn't buy this from amazon (sorry amazon) but at the fort dalles museum (good place). that being said, this is a marvelous marvelous book. anyone who is interested in, cares for, or would like to understand the columbia REALLY needs to buy it. i just went out and bought her book on the san juans (through amazon!!) because she is such an excellent writer. Yay JoAnn Roe

Good starting point
Decent overview of the river from its rising to the Pacific with bits of history, tourism information, geology, history, etc. It's a good place to start for anyone interested in the Columbia.
