Does this come with capacitor and overload relay?

The compressor is a capacitor start induction run. Yes it comes with the electrical components. I had to due some piping mods on the one I installed last summer. She's running fine.

Is this a suitable replacement for the emh60her (which was discontinued)?

Yes, it worked out fine. I found it to be taller than the emh60her meaning a tighter fit so check your height!  I had to tilt it to get it in and silver solder the connections inside the fridge instead of outside and sliding it in afterwards. But it's been running just fine.

The manufacturer will honor warranties only when parts are installed by a Licensed HVAC or Appliance Technicians employed by a reputable HVAC or Appliance Contractor.  Great pricing is one of the advantages of online purchasing, that’s most like why you’re here. The same parts purchased through a HVAC or Appliance Contractor cost as much as three or four times what you can find online. Those higher HVAC and Appliance Contractor part prices have the warranties built into them.  When you purchase the part online for a fraction of the cost and when a qualified HVAC or Appliance Tech is not installing the part then the warranty options are simply not available.

If a licensed tech installed this part, they can reach out to the manufacturer of that part to file the warranty claim on your behalf.
