I use these with my 3D printer filament and they’ve worked really well. You get a good amount for the money and they bring the humidity down surprisingly quickly. The biggest advantage for me is that they can be dried out and reused rather than having to replace them every time they become saturated, which makes them ideal for long-term filament storage. Very effective, reusable and good value. I’ll definitely keep using them.

I bought these to use inside my Bambu Labs AMS system in order to help dry out filaments when stored and in use. I have a humidity sensor that I have placed inside the AMS which is hooked up to a HA console so I can read the output. My measurements before adding this in was around 40% humidity. After printing containers and placing a fair amount of this inside, my measurements got as low as 18% after a couple of days. I've used a fair amount of this now and have had to "recharge" the desiccant a couple of times. First I will say that the desiccant does change colour and does reset back to it's original state when heated in the microwave. Not only does the colour change but you can see the moisture leaving through the amount of steam produced. Due to the amount of steam and how hot the desiccant does get during this period I did tend to ignore the instructions that say to leave it in the microwave for something like 8 minutes and instead do it in bursts of 1-2 minutes. I would also recommend using a glass dish or something that can withstand high temperatures as I did try using a plastic container on a small amount and the desiccant did end up melted into the container. Overall would definitely recommend and have even given some to a friend for the same purpose as I have used it and they have had similar results.

Works well and the container is sturdy and useful. Some of the beads are quite small. You can buy cheaper else where on Amazon that are bigger beads and come with several desiccant bags.

Works a treat for my 3D printing filament. You can put these In the microwave and re heat them which will return them back to a dry state. Would recommend!
