Exceeded my expectations
I was iffy with this seed pack and more so just wanted to test it out. All the varieties are the common varieties. And with these culinary herbs, common types can vary wildly on their scent and flavor. I’ve attached some photos but I am so far pleased with my outcomes. Some things I’ve noticed so far in my seedlings. 1. Germination rate was good, almost exactly what it says on the package. Actually mine germinated like 3x as fast as what it suggested. I did germinate about 78-80f. 2. If you rub the thyme, oregano or sage leaves and then do a sniff they smell incredible even though they are still so little. This would indicate the parent plants were very healthy and fragrant. I have high hopes in there culinary outcome. 3. The oregano leaves are already having a light fuzz develop. The fuzz is excellent because they hold lots of the flavor and scent oils. The sage and thyme are also a little fuzzy! 4. The thyme has a lovely magenta underside. I thought it was just the cotyledons that had it but it’s seeming all of them do. I keep a strong grow light 1-2” from it 12-14hr a day. This striking color is a great sign of a strong reactive plant; it proves the seeds are creating enough antioxidants and responding vigorously to the light. I also want to mention these are all like literally only three weeks old. And I swear they are being kept at room temp besides for the germination. I started them in cells and then transferred them into pots maybe four days ago. Oregano, sage, thyme I did a few “ of seed soil then remaining w organic miracle gro/ sand/ perlite/ worm castings mix. Chives & cilantro same mix but less perlite and no sand. Chives/ onion I did start in a cell then moved them directly outside. The chives/ onions sprouted the first but actually are growing the slowest. To be fair it is like 50 degrees outside but they were growing quite slower at room temp regardless. The sage sprouted last, only just a week or so ago.

Excellent Value & Germination
Very happy with these seeds. Almost all of them germinated and grew well. I started way too many seeds too close together, and they still all came up. I ended up with more lettuce than I could eat, so most of it didn't make it once the May and June heat arrived. They did great from February through April in zone 8b. Buttercrunch was my favorite, while red romaine was my least favorite in terms of flavor, but it looked great and held up well without bolting early. Once the weather got too hot, the lettuce started struggling, which is expected. I will definitely be planting these again for a fall crop.

Great Seeds
This is the 1st year I've ever tried to really grow herbs and veggies. This lettuce is the only ones I tried from seed. Based on the lack of success I've heard from people about store/online bought seeds I wasn't expecting alot. However, these seeds have done wonderfully. The lack of them growing properly is a lack of my own understanding, being a 1st year novice. Definitely a trial an error year. I know next year I can count on these seeds to have a great germination rate, as well as beautiful growth.

Great value if you have a large garden (still a win for a smaller garden too)
This is for my daughter's high school agriculture project. In order to get something prior to the end of school, and have the project done early we went with "winter vegetables." I assumed that all these would be plantable during the winter (which is mild here, rarely below zero and hard freezes are years apart.) That isn't the case. Apparently squash is considered a winter vegetable because it stores well, for winter consumption. The beans aren't winter plantable either, and maybe one other variety. Beyond that, however, this is a great package. We seeded directly into a raised garden and planted 4-5 seeds per site to make sure we had success. About 50% of the sites had germinated in a week, probably 95% at day 14, and all but one (71 of 72) germinated on the first pass. As noted, I put too many seeds in per site, so we'll have to thin them shortly... however, this package provides plenty of seeds so there was no need to be skimpy. Using a more standard 2 to 3 seeds per site, I suspect this combo would allow for a few hundred sites. Obviously, if you're planting a few of each vegetable, the packs with a smaller number of seeds would work well enough, but if you've got the space this selection is a great value for the money. These are good looking plants also, and given the germination rate, they seem to be really good stock. Only ~14 days in, of course, but I'm optimistic. As past of her project, my daughter calculated that we'd get 98 pounds of produce from our garden, and if we get anything close to that it's a big win. Now I just have to find recipes to use 15 pounds of kohlrabi and rutabaga...

Great for Aerogarden
I bought these to grow herbs in my Aerogarden. I planted them last week and already have sprouts on all but 2 of them, and that might be just the way they landed in the pods. Overall, great product!
