It works fine

We bought the 32 x 40 boards. Yes, the corners were crunched as others have said. But our chief complaint is that the 32-inch wide boards aren't 32 inches wide. They are 31-15/16 inches wide. A full sixteenth of an inch short. Maybe for some uses of these boards, that wouldn't matter. We're using them to back already-printed signs that are - you guessed it - EXACTLY 32 inches wide. If you need ok-ish, slightly damaged, not-quite-the-advertised-size foam board, then this product is for you. If you need good quality foam board for professional use that meets its stated specs, move along and look elsewhere.

Same quality as pricier options, shipped securely and quickly. Thought we'd try these to see if quality was ok and we were pleasantly surprised. This is second time purchase and will purchase more as needed for using to wrap fabric yardage for upright storage on wire shelving.

These arrived packaged well, but almost half of the boards were warped like they had been in a hot or small bin too long. I decided to place them on the floor with heavy books to straighten them or use them to cut and mount smaller paintings. Decided to keep them since the other boards were really nice in perfect condition.

I usually use Elmer’s brand black foam board for my photography work. The Elmer’s brand works well, but I’ve had issues in the past with significant damage to the edges of the boards which usually come loose packed within a snug fitting box. Shipping damage frequently results in smashed corners to the Elmers boards. So I thought I would try these alternative boards by Flipside in 32” x 40” size, especially as through Amazon they are significantly cheaper than the Elmers brand and come with free shipping. I wasn’t disappointed! The boards came beautifully packaged in a stout cardboard box. Within the box the boards are wrapped in protective sheet and with attached corner protectors. The corners were perfect in every board. The only very slight damage I could find was to a few boards on one edge, where the box had received an impact during shipping, but the damage was very slight and I trim the boards to fit my photographs anyway, so this was not a problem for me. There are some very slight differences between these boards and the Elmers equivalent. The black tone on the Flipside boards is probably best described as very dark charchoal gray, rather than true black, but the Elmers boards are also not true black tone to my eyes. It comes down to a slight difference in the charcoal gray tones, which are only really visible if you hold the two brands side by side. The foam core is also a little different with the Flipside brand - a slightly denser but softer foam structure, compared with the coarser and slightly stiffer Elmers version. I can’t really fault either brand and for the large cost savings I am very pleased with my Flipside purchase - I’ll be buying more!

Although it is great quality the delivery isn't so great. The corners were unfortunately banged up and because I need the entire board , I found myself wasting and cutting off more then I would have liked..

I have purchased this exact product in the past and expected to receive the same product I have previously purchased - especially since I just clicked to purchase again. But this stuff is flimsy! It creases, bends, and dents too easily. It has no strength and the paper on the outside is so thin that you cannot write on it without the marker/pen going through. You can smash the foam between your fingers. I cannot use this stuff. Bring back the previous boards!

Many of the boards arrived damaged. It appeared they were punctured through the middle. Thankfully it didn't ruin all of them so I was able to complete my project, but disappointed I didn't have extra as I had hoped. Those in good condition, were great, thus the 3 star rating.

Better than Dollar store foamboard and about the same price. Much more rigid/stronger than dollar store stuff. Corners were a little dinged up, but I expected that and not really that important to me as I will be cutting it to use anyway. Would purchase again.
