Excellent Quality
These are of equally great quality as the dotted Moleskine journals I used to buy, but much more affordable. They are my go-to work notebook. The pages are thick and of good quality, with plenty of pages for use.

Best Journal I’ve used
Some of you might think this sounds crazy but this journal is better than the well known brand leuchtturm’s and is also a lot cheaper. The cover and back pocket are super soft and made using quality materials You get two page markers which I think is great The pages are thick enough to allow you to use pens and not have ghosting (if you go over your pens lines a few times you do get a bit) But honestly I was shocked at how good this journal is would definitely recommend that you buy this. I will be buying more in the future

AMAZING quality
i've ordered 3 of these notebooks, maybe 4? the paper quality is amazing, ink doesnt bleed through, you cant even see the ink on the other side of the paper. theres many pages, and it feels great to write in, it doesnt come with a pen holder unfortunately, so i've had to stick my own in. i like the elastic band quite a bit, and the colour options too.

Decent purchase!
A good, affordable bullet journal! The blueberry colour is so pretty and I’m excited to use it. Only downside is that the pages aren’t the thickest, so would recommend using a light hand when using markers.

Lovely Notebooks - Perfect for Bullet Journaling
I've kept a bullet journal since 2018 in different forms, sometimes going all in with decorating it & getting creative and sometimes focusing on function and utility. I've had two Leuchtturm 1917s, a Rhodia, a moleskine, and an unbranded note book from a pound shop, and after using a magenta Stationary Island notebook for most of 2023, I've just bought two more while they were on sale! I find this notebook has exactly what I need without frills and whistles - a sturdy cover that's lasted the year and still looks great, well-sewn pages that stand up to frequent use (where glued ones often come loose), a 5mm dot grid that makes setting layouts and measuring things out with a ruler really easy, and thick enough pages that the pens I use don't seep through (Micron art markers of various thicknesses, Tombow brush nibs, Staedler triplus, other standard pens), two bookmarks and a back pocket. I love the range of colours they have and I think these are well-designed notebooks. While you can find cheaper A5 dot grid notebooks, I have yet to find one cheaper that can compete with the pricier Leuchtturms and Rhodias as well as this one does. I can't see me ever going back!

Quality at a low price
I don’t always write reviews for things I buy but I needed to rave about the quality of this journal. I’ve owned a few journals like this now but it was the first Stationery Island one I’d bought and I’m so impressed. Considering the price the quality is so much better than the Leuchtturm journals you can buy and the pages are so much thicker. Fine, there aren’t page numbers or an index at the front but you can easily add that yourself. It always frustrates me how much shadowing there was on the more expensive journal and always the risk of bleed through which you just don’t have here so you have the freedom to be creative. The only journal I’ve had with thicker paper was twice the price and had much longer shipping times. Sure, those journals tend to be more creative with the covers and such but if you’re in a budget then I would suggest this to everyone. My only complaints? Probably the dots are a touch darker than I might like so shows through some of the lighter own colours I use but that’s not a deal breaker. Also, it’s not a totally lay flat design, probably because of the thicker paper so it’s a bit stiff opening but I know once I’m a little further into the journal that won’t be a major issue. As long as this holds up to daily use then I’ll be buying plenty more of these journals.

Very robust, high quality note book...
I bought this book during lockdown (just to say how long I've had it) and it's still going strong. I thought I might use it for bullet journaling but quickly discovered that "trend" wasn't for me! I subsequently started using it to write down recipes (from websites and cooking with friends at home) and to keep notes (ex. measurements for curtains, plans for the veg garden... that sort of stuff). I have to say, it just looks so tidy and inviting on the sofa that I am happy to pick it up to write something down or to go back and look at a recipe. It's a notebook with great, quality paper (I use a fountain pen and, sometimes, highlighters) that's just so pleasant to write on. It has a nice, solid feel and it has TWO place-marker ribbons and a little pocket in the back cover for slipping in little odds and ends like stamps or a note. The book is just great. I love it. And it feels very warm to the touch, too. If you're a tactile person like me, you will LOVE this book!

I love these notebooks!
I love these notebooks, each time I finish one I buy another to replace it and in a different colour. The pages are great quality and I love that it's not white paper. Sharpie and other markers can bleed through the page every so slightly, but not enough to not be able to write on the other side of the page. The grid is a great scale and printed really clearly. The pocket at the back is sturdy and the elastic is super secure. I also love how they have two book marking ribbons, not just the one. If I had any criticisms it would be that if you tear a page out, you need to be careful as depending where in the book you are, the binding may result in another page coming out at the same time. I just try to avoid needing to tear any out. Super recommend these notebooks for bullet journalling or using as a regular notebook like I do. I'll definitely buy again.

Good notebook
It's a good notebook for the price. The paper is pretty good, even thicker than the Leuchtturm1017, but a little lighter (not as yellowish). I have just used it for a cople of days but seems solid.
