Does this camera have any issues with heat being in the windshield during the summer?

I found that my camera got unexpectedly hot, even while NOT in an excessively hot climate. The manual does mention the units getting "warm" however. As in a question below, the issue I experienced was the adhesive pad failing to hold the camera to the window, even though the vehicle spends 95+% of the time inside a parking structure.

Display while driving

It will show display while driving temporarily. After about a minute it will either show your mph or time. You choose in the settings.

How does it start recording?

It starts recording when receiving power from the lighter plug in the vehicle.

Camera kept falling off the window. Suction ripped. Can I get a replacement for it?

Livngchutoy, if you search here on Amazon for Nextbase Click&Go PRO GPS Mount, For Nextbase 322GW, 422GW, and 522GW Car Dash Cams and look down below, there are options to buy additional double-sided adhesive pads, including a 9-pack for $6.29 (as of 25 Sep 2022). I can't tell whether they are exactly sized to fit the mount, but that can be easily fixed with a pair of scissors. They are the same gray color (which I would assume is selected to keep the mount slightly less visible from outside the vehicle compared to white. Nextbase does indeed have replacements, but they want $13.99 for a 2-pack.
