SKYVIK TRUHOLD Magnetic AC Air-Vent/Dashboard Car Mount Mobile Phone Holder

I viewed a lot of videos around how to mount iphone along with Magsafe in the car. Apparently I stepped on this one and dared to buy this expensive thing for my jeep compass. 1. The adhesive was powerful enough from a day 1 experience. They have also given an additional one just in case. 2. The MagSafe charger sticks on to the magnetic holder with great power 3. I can now mount my iPhone 14 pro onto the MagSafe charger. 4. Only issue I found is that the phone vibrates when I start the engine. But otherwise looks quite sturdy. 5. This solves my problem of both mounting and charging it at the same time. 6. The wire can be tucked behind the holder and is almost invisible. Charging the phone is now hassle free and nifty.

The quality and convenience of the product is amazing. The adhesive used for the dashboard mount is super sticky and strong. It is perfect if you want to mount the holder on dashboard. The dashbord mount has a small footprint so it is possible to mount on curved surface as well (Not too curved). The air vent mount is very convenient and sturdy as well but it has a minor con. No matter how tightly u screw it to the air vent it gets loose after a couple of days especially if u drive over slightly uneven roads. I have a VW Vento and it does not fit very snugly in my cars air vents. It might perform better on other cars with deeper air vents (I havent checked, just a guess). Also when using Air vent mount the air flow is somewhat restricted but that was anyways expected. But all in all its a great and good quality product.

I think this is the best product for car mobile holder. Quality of the material is really good. Especially suction power is excellent. But the adhesion is not that good at this price point, it will stick comfortably only on the smooth surface on the dashboard, this is the only negative point. However there is one more option to fix it on the AC vents. Apart from that product looks very nice on dashboard since it is small it occupies very less space.

Poor adhesive quality. Does not stick .. Seems to have recieved very old product could not even install it.. unable to return as I checked it after my travel.. waste of money spending around 1k.. no use ... I thought it will be handy if it's small but it's not a good idea.. only good thing is magnets are of good quality..

It comes with stand for both the dashboard and clip for air vents. I like that the magnet is sturdy, and they give separate magnet plates for your phone and couple of transparent stickers on which to put the magnetic plates. The size is quite small so doesn’t get in the way. Just remember, the case where you put the magnetic plates will not work with wireless charging, so keep a separate case for the car. Magnets are quite strong and build quality of the product is also great.

The 3m tape supplied with the product is useless on dashboard or glass, even the extra tape isn't sticky enough to hold Don't waste your money on purchasing dashboard variant, if you are fine with ac vent variant it has absolutely great magnetic holding but mind though you can't use the metal plate inside the case if your phone cover is thick or your phone is heavy You have to stick the plate to the phone cover The quality of adhesive on the metal plate is very good There should have been a dashboard only variant because I'm never gonna use it on the vent. The base won't bend over the surface as advertised atleast with the supplied 3m adhesive. Overall false promises were made by the company but build quality of the product is great

I was using Baseus magnetic holder (Dashboard Suction type) earlier and it worked well for at 4 years, but towards the end the lock got loose and when I jump a hump it unlocks everytime I have to lock it in to place. After having a pretty good, long experience with Baseus I searched for that same holder and unfortunately its not being listed anywhere. So I started searching for a new holder, and accidentally i found skyvik truehold, the dashboard version and I kept digging and I found the Sticker/Airvent version, and I went for it. The reason why I went for it are two. 1. Since its 3M double side tape on the back, I got a sturdy, firm placement. 2. 100% perfect for me since the 360 swivels could be tightened and fixed to a particular angle. To my surprise, it's super sturdy than the Baseus, and pretty happy with the order. Good product. Also thanking Amazon for the lightning-fast delivery.

Very easy to configure and very sturdy. Been using the same brand for 4 years. Good quality product.
