MOTOPOWER MP00205B 12V 1000mA Fully Automatic Battery Charger/Maintainer - UK Plug

I bought one about a year ago now & it's been brilliant so as I now have a second bike I bought another two of these work out to be half the price of other brands & work just as well.

I was a little sceptical about this charger because of the low price but it has been excellent, keeping my motorbike charged over the winter here in Scotland where the temperature can really kill the batteries. It stops charging when the battery is fully charged so it won’t damage your battery

I had to return a similar unit from a different supplier as it de-charged my car battery! This one is simplicity in itself, just connect it up, plug it in and the LED's inform you of progress. My daughters battery was a little low on charge and after 5 hours this has run through it's processes and fully charged it. I've had it connected to my VFR1200X, (strangely the polarity was wrong when plugging it into the previously installed SAE lead so I had to swap over pos/neg lead on the battery but no problem), where again it has worked like a charm delivering just a trickle charge to top it up. It's a tiny little charger but appears well made, is simple to use and comes with all the fittings you'll need for connecting to car or bike. For me the best feature is you can see at a glance the state of charge as the LED's are easy to see/read. This is an excellent little charger if a slow 1000ma charge suits your needs.

Seems to do the job. Have to be careful with the main wires as theyre a bit thin but overall its good.

Works well. This replaced an exact same one which unfortunately died after several years work. I was otherwise happy with it so replaced it with the same. Works well, but not on totally flat batteries. You need a jump start and then this can take over once there is a small amount of charge (4+ volts I think)

Works well, does not get Hot, keeps Battery charged OK when veicle not in use.

Absolutely rubbish. Bought this to charge a motorcycle battery that just didn’t have enough power to turn the engine fast enough. I set it all up correctly and turned it on and it immediately said the battery was fully charged. So I unplugged the connector and pushed it back in and the light changed to a flashing yellow. So left it over night to see a solid geeen light again but the bike still hadn’t received enough charge to turn it over. Unplugged it a second time and got the flashing red light and left it for an hour. When I came back the light was solid green to say it was charged but still couldn’t turn the engine over. It just throws random lights to make it look like it’s going something but in actual fact it does nothing. Will be returning for a refund.
