I've searched long and hard for a frother that does a good job with warming and frothing milk, but that also mixes hot chocolate and my instant cafe lattes. I had one that frothed well, but was so hard to clean because the frother was connected to the base, which couldn't get wet. This one is a game-changer since the bowl detaches from the warmer and can be washed separately. I bought this to make batched hot chocolate for my family, but then I tried to add Blue Bottle's Instant Espresso to the frothing milk on the hot chocolate setting and also discovered that I could batch DELICIOUS hot lattes without the cost of an espresso machine. Pretty incredible. It works best with real milk, but I did have success with frothing Elmhurst Plant-based Milks. Highly recommend this for everything you can do. Huge value for the price.

I ordered this product before. It seems to work great for a couple of years & then it quits, but I really like the frothing (like going to local coffee shop), so was willing to order again. This time around, the box was already opened & looked like it was previously used (I paid for a new one). I thought it was odd but washed it anyways. I wish now that I had taken pictures, because when I used it this morning it behaved like my previously purchased one, before it quit on me. I am disgusted & thoroughly disappointed. Buyer beware!

Perfectly warm & frothy milk. Settings work great. Not sure why the other reviews say it’s loud. It’s not; there’s of course a small whirring sound as expected bc it’s frothing.. but nothing crazy. Typical frother sound. It can take a while if you put in a lot of milk, but that’s to be expected. Super easy to use & easy to clean (most important).

This frother is unbelievable. It makes great cappuccino foam. The frothed milk is perfect every time. The foam is absolutely luxurious. I had a Capresso frother before, which I really liked. But, the pitcher was plastic and the bottom was hard to keep clean. The stainless steel pitcher on this model is a big improvement over the cheaper plastic versions. I am very impressed with the product; although I have not tried any of the hot chocolate features.

This item makes the best foam (using regular milk) that I’ve had anywhere in the world. I add vanilla and monkfruit drops to it as it froths and it is a delight. The only negative is that the on button requires a very light tap and I often cannot get it to engage. Hence the 4 star. Also, this unit is too big for just single cups of coffee but would Be perfect if I used it to make hot chocolate which I do not.

I bought this frother in Jan 2022, and was amazed by it! Froths wonderfully, mixes any powders in completely, and the hot chocolate setting is so good! Cold froth works pretty well too. However, it is now Jan 2024, and for the past four months or so, the machine had been way overheating the milk, giving it that scalded taste. Once I realized this, I just started to stop it before it was done and that was fine. But now, it has completely stopped working - it turns itself off within 2-3 seconds of starting, and keeps turning back off when I turn it back on. Does this on all settings. Shame how things are not made to last anymore. I will reach out to the company for support and update here if/when I hear back from them.

My lattes are half coffee / half almond milk in a large mug, so I appreciate the large capacity of this frother. I also add a scoop of mocha collagen, and it still blends nicely. It’s summer, so I have not tried the feature which allows to melt chocolate chips and make hot cocoa, but I must admit that feature along with larger capacity is why I chose this one over the same brand that was a little less. I’ve had trouble with smaller capacity frothers spilling over the sides / mess. Not with this one 👍 I like that it is stainless and dishwasher safe. (I’ve had a plastic pitcher before that stained with my mocha collagen or cocoa). If you only use a little bit of milk or almond milk, this one is overkill and probably too large. But if you like 1/2 coffee and 1/2 milk or frothing for more than one person then highly recommend. Oh - you can store the magnetic frother spinner things on underside of frother base which is great way to keep up with them.

Edit to my original review below: it has stopped heating the milk beyond slightly warm. For the price, I expected a lot more. My previous milk frother died. We were early morning friends, but there were things about it that kept me from mourning its death. For starters, it cooked a little of the milk to the bottom of the kettle and was hard to clean. The Capresso is super easy to clean and it does not cook the milk. It’s probably worth adding that I make matcha in my frother (way easier than using a whisk), then I froth milk to top it. There were some other unanticipated downsides to the Capresso: - It’s LOUD! Not so loud that you can’t hold a conversation while it runs, but loud enough that it is distracting when I turn it on. And it screeches and makes a sound like metal pieces are rubbing against the metal base. - It’s slow! I fill it between the min and max levels (maybe 8-10 oz - haven’t measured to know for sure) and it takes 10 minutes to heat room temp water/tea. Once the base is hot from making the tea, it heats the milk much faster. While it makes a great matcha latte, it takes nearly 15 min to heat the tea and froth the milk. - It’s not hot! It is really warm, but not hot. I’m sure that is why it doesn’t burn the milk, but I would like a hotter setting. It is clearly meant to warm and froth milk and make hot chocolate. - The start button sometimes takes some finessing to get it to start. I hope this helps you find your frother!

It is a great machine. I use to have Vialetti chocolate maker. But this is as good. It does great job. I'm glade I brought this

Excelente producto, versátil y disfrutable el resultado, solo que hay que tener paciencia por que tarda algunas veces mas de los dos minutos que tardan el promedio de las que he usado. En compensación el espumado final es un buen volumen para una taza grande o para varias tazas regulares.

Tuve una espumadora Capresso que me duró años, más de 6 o 7. Así que decidí comprar otra de la misma marca, a pesar de que leí reseñas de que a otras personas no les había durado. La compré en abril de 2022 y para ahora, octubre 2023 ya no sirve. Yo utilizaba diario una vez al día, así como usaba la anterior, sin embargo, la inversión en esta espumadora no vale para para solo unos 400 usos. Es una pena que ahora todo se haga desechable. No la compren, si quieren un producto que les dure.

It doesn't froth anymore at all. Still spins, makes hot milk and hot chocolate but no longer froths. Seems like the motor can't spin fast enough anymore to froth the milk but it can still stir it. Would not recommend and would return if I could.
