PNSO Prehistoric Animal Models: 18 Paulwin the Dakosaurus

He might be a bit small, but he's really nice. Wonderful detail, outside and inside. His mouth can open quite far too. Very chonky fellow

Just received this shark replica yesterday and I love it, awesome detail as others have mentioned and to me it reminds me of “Bruce” the shark from “Jaws”. I have always been terrified and fascinated with sharks and I would highly recommend this shark figure! 👍

The sculpt of this beast is impressive--a plausible, personality-filled reconstruction of a long extinct marine reptile. Same with the thoughtful, realistic paint job. It's truly a delight to behold. Worth noting: this won't make a good toy for younger kids (maybe 12 and under). It's a fairly rigid display piece. Though exceptionally well crafted and suitable for collection and educational purposes, it is not an ideal plaything for youngsters.

Look, it's expensive. I get it. But this is so high quality that it could bring a nerd like me to tears. It is so worth the money. The realism is off the charts, it's beautifully sculpted. I truly wish I could afford everything they sell, because they are all true works of art. Indulge your inner child if you find yourself, like me, daydreaming about these forever before taking the price plunge.

Honestly the best looking dunkleosteus on the market I recommend this for any prehistoric animal collector!

Beautiful details and realistic paint job. The plastic is lightweight but sturdy. The size makes it perfect for attention grabbing shelf display. My son is sleeping currently so I'll be updating later on it's playability. The realism is worth the money, but the product came in scratched despite no damage to box and thorough safety packaging. If it weren't scratched then I would say the megladon is perfect for a collection.

Beautiful impressive and my dad loved it. Has great quality and more detail than you would expect when you look at the underside.

I collect and review Dunkleosteus models, and this is my new favorite. Except for the dorsal fin being too far back (recent material from Morocco puts it further forward), I think the details here are correct or very close to it, considering we don't have fossils of the complete creature. It flows like a real animal, not like a static model: you could hang this in a fish tank and most people wouldn't notice anything amiss at first look. The color is necessarily speculative but highly believable. Little details some modelers pass over, like the wrinkles where the fins join the body, are all here. Uniquely among affordable models, the skull tips up as the jaw moves down, creating a more realistic simulation of the way this giant actually fed. It's superb work.

The quality is too bad plastic

Amazing figure! Very detailed!

Excelente!

Todo genial salvo que esta muy chiquito. Ojalá fuera más grande. Incluye una pintura poster del animal muy bonito.

Good
