Nature's Way Bird Products CWH3 Cedar Bluebird Box House

Blue Birds love their new nesting house. Very well constructed and long lasting bird house. I have 4 of them on Oak trees throughout my property. Bird house already assembled and and is easy to install. The appearance and thickness stand up to lots of weather conditions. Squirrels cannot get in the house the design is outstanding. Great product!

Good bird houses. Perfect size for songbirds. It comes with a little booklet about it, & a list of birds that would use it. I bought 2 last year & put them onto tree trunks up high in my back yard quite a ways from my house as not to scare any birds from using them. Songbirds like more secluded areas to nest where there isn't a lot of noise or commotion from people. Checked both nesting boxes in the early Fall & there was nesting material in both. Checked one of them early November & closed the door quickly bc there were a few little squirrels nestled in it to get out of the cold & snowy weather. That was a surprise, but a pleasant one bc I love the beautiful squirrels also. Just bought a 3rd one & put it onto another tree way out the back. I plan to buy more for more trees. Would recommend.

Super well made. A bit pricey but the quality is worth it. These are the easy clean-out type. I bought 8, I live in a mountain forest with lots of birds in this size. You will have to drill your own mounting holes, and pre-set your screws. Not hard. I prepped all 8 ahead so once up on ladder all I had to do was drive 2 deck screws into the tree. They ring a pasture. I did add the gnaw-shields as a precaution.

I really like this bluebird house, except, for the black roof. Black absorbs the sun’s heat, making it too hot inside for the birds. The wooden roof should have just been sealed with the color of the wood showing through. It would have been lighter and cooler and better for the birds. I’m going to paint the roof white or beige before putting it up. I, also, bought a metal guard for the hole to keep squirrels and other things from enlarging the hole. It would have been a plus to have it already on there. Overall, it seems to be well made out of quality components. Thank you for producing a good birdhouse! Update: When it came time to actually nail it to a tree, I was disappointed to see that there was no place on the bottom to nail it to stablize it. It’s good that there is a way to open the front panel to clean it out from previous bird’s nest. I had to make a 20+miles round trip to the Home Depot to buy two 3” screws. What a waste of time and gas. We are supposed to be sheltering in place, also. It would be so nice if the company included them.

I love the looks of this Bird House. I have a long line of trees behind my fence and put several birdhouses there, this one is a favorite. It looks so nice. It is not yet nesting season. I hope in the Spring a nice family will move in. This house is built well. It has fledgling skerfs to allow the chicks to leave the nest when ready to fly. It has predator guards at the entrance, Air Vents for good Ventilation, elevated floor for nest ventilation, and easy clean out door. Everything my "have to have" list was checked off by this little house at a very reasonable price. Need to add after reading other reviews complaining about the quality of the wire in the flooring I went to a craft store and got some heavy "plastic canvas" that is used for needlepoint and cut a piece the exact size as the floor and placed on top of the wire bottom. The holes in the plastic canvas are small enough to prevent little bird feet from getting stuck as another review reported finding a dead bird. Update 4/20/22 I have 2 of these birdhouses in my yard. They are the only 2 houses that have Blue birds nesting. I have 3 other styles or models of birdhouses so far the birds are ignoring the them. I highly recommend them. I wish all 5 Birdhouses in my yard were these.

I can't say enough good things about this birdhouse. First of all, it is made of quality cedar ensuring many years of use. So many bluebird houses in this price range are built from low-grade pine which wouldn't last two years in the elements. This box is built using precision cuts with many desirable features including extra deep hole (predator guard), vent holes and a well-functioning, well-fitted clean-out door. The fledgling kerfs on the inside of the door are an especially nice touch. And the elevated wire-mesh floor is a feature you often only see on more expensive models. The house is obviously assembled with pride and that's something you cannot say about many competing boxes. All in all, one of the very best pieces of birding equipment I've purchased through Amazon. Update: Within a week of this review, a pair of Eastern Bluebirds set up residence in this box. I plan to purchase more.

Compared to a number of others we have owned over the years, this is a very well-constructed bluebird house - simple and sturdy and with a nicely designed door. The company also is excellent as one of our items was broken in shipping and they immediately sent us a new one. I am glad we purchased two of these and look forward to installing them in a few months.

I really like this bird house and I hope the blue birds like it just as much. I bought a second one so they have a choice. The build quality seems sturdy. The door is easy to open and the screen tray at the bottom will make it easier to clean the old nest out. I highly recommend getting one.

First unit arrived in 3 pieces as wood split in transport. Returned that. Second unit arrived in two pieces. Just repaired it with few screws as do not want to bother to send it again. I think you guys need to work on packaging as box was intact but it broke in same place on both shipments. Unit itself looks nice.

Bird House came in perfect condition, but had no packing inside a big box so I think it must have got tossed around in transit. It was so easy to install with the flip up front so that my husband could drill the screw right through the back and into our brick wall. He pre-drilled a hole to make it easier. This bird house is not only stylish but very well made. Now I wait to see if the birds like it too :)

This house is solid and high quality! Obviously hand assembled and has great functionality. So easy to open and close for access to clean. Wire mesh inside on bottom perfect for bird grip and aeration of nest. Little grooves in the wood inside below the hole so babies can climb up. I added a perch outside below the hole in about one minute with a drill and a piece of chopstick! What a great value for money. And nothing can go wrong with it !! Six stars?

I replaced our old worn out birdhouse with this new cedar house. I figured I wouldn’t have birds take residence until next season but within 2 days of being mounted a family of birds moved in. So thankful! This birdhouse is even more sturdy and strong than the last one so I’m sure it’s going to last. Very happy with this product.

It looks very well made. The only thing I would recommend is how to hang the birdhouse, I had a plate made under the house and drilled into the bottom so it can go on a pole. It doesn’t come with any hooks or anything to allow to hang. That’s something the manufacturer should send with the birdhouse. So that’s why it gets a 4 star as you need to figure out how to hang.
