I read all of the reviews before i added my 5 star rating.I found that the brightness of the flash light seemed to match what was claimed in the add comparing it to a tactical flash light that I have that has three brightness levels 400 ,200 & 100 lumens and for the beam field size it seemed to match the 100 lumen intensity. The light intensity is not evenly distributed across the beam but brighter in the center so you get a good level of brightness and even brighter in the center. So it does seem to be very bright. In reading some of the cons of the other reviews the color was claimed to be muted and another con was the lanyard is too small. I agree with the lanyard as it is not even big enough to fit a 5 year old's hand through it. The color is really up to the eye of the beholder but I feel it is more the rubberized material the flash light is made of as the finish is a flat texture and not a glossy colored aluminum shell. see actual picture below. Seems close to the picture in the AD. Since the two cons stated in the other review to me were more cosmetic than what I would say were actual flaw as I am not sure in the AD for these flashlights any comments or claims were made about the length of the Lanyard. In my book the Flashlight seems to be true to the AD and over all it is a GOOD little flashlight.

bright, powerful, and an easy way to put an emergency light in every room. Compared to something like an Ozark Trail $2 50 lumen equivalent significantly brighter. I had bought them for the science classroom, but ended up deciding against it because the kids would probably blind each other with them during our solar system unit. However, I will say the build quality feels a little on the fragile side. If it’s just going to stay in an emergency drawer or really not used for too much it’s a great buy

They work as expected, are a good price and there are so many that you can put them in many convenient places.

Years ago when these Mini LED flashlights came onto the market you could buy them for a song. The ones I've had all this time have finally come to the end of their life and I needed to replace them. Wow! Talk about an increase in price to get these handy little lights! So I delayed spending an arm and leg for them but have now sold my home and started renting an all-electric duplex. After a really bad storm swept through my area causing me to lose total power I quickly realized I needed battery-powered emergency lights (candles are nice for the short term but not practical for any kind of lengthy outage) and decided to shop around again for the Mini LED's. Mercy, even more expensive. So, I turned to Amazon and found these...a 10-pack and more economical than any I'd run across anywhere else I'd looked for them. They are very well-made. The barrels are non-slip (not aluminum or plastic like most Mini's), have attached lanyards for hands-free use (very handy), and even come with all the AAA batteries already installed (3 to each Mini !) with a plastic disc inserted inside between the barrel cap and the battery "contact" to keep the batteries fresh until you're ready to use them. What a deal! And you should keep that plastic disc !! Put it back into the Mini to save your batteries since the flashlights may sit for a long while before you need to use one again! Plus, the 10 Mini's came packed in a box, not in one of those plastic clamshell packages that ruin it for any kind of storage for your Mini's after you've used scissors or cutters to get inside it to get the Mini's out. Now I can keep all 10 in one place instead having to look everywhere I've left one in scattered areas around my duplex. So nice!
