I ordered this for use when grinding my stained glass pieces. It is perfect. I can wear my glasses under the shield and the cover is very clear. Perfect for my use.

Read most of the reviews, particularly the bad ones and figured for the money I'd be fine. As I guessed, the complaints about the shield's clarity was due to their not removing BOTH protective films. I have to admit that removing the film, especially the one on the inside, was no picnic. The friction knobs on the sides that people are stripping out only require a little pressure to keep the shield from falling down. The headband adjuster is pretty neat - infinite adjustment instead of going to belt loop style settings. The thing's comfortable & appears to be well made. If you're able to use some common sense, which seems to be in very short supply these days, you should be very happy w/ this shield. Again, for the money - hard to beat!REVISION: Now that I've actually used this, have to say I'm still very pleased> Used it w/ my chainsaw the other day & it suddenly dawned on me that the aluminum trim is what determines the shape of the shield. It was fine out of the box, but by pulling the bottom in closer to my face increases protection quite a bit. Never had a problem w/ the shield staying up or lowering it. Only thing I didn't like was how hard it is to get the (2) protective films started to remove.

I bought the Sellstrom Advantage Face Shield for yard work - mainly weed-eating - and it’s been great at keeping debris off my face. The overall design is solid, and it’s surprisingly lightweight, so it doesn’t feel bulky or get in the way while I’m moving around.The shield offers good visibility, though it can fog up a bit from your breath during use - nothing major, but something to note if you're working in humid or cooler conditions.My only real gripe is with the plastic connectors that hold the shield in place. They occasionally pop open while I’m working. I’ve never lost the shield, but I do have to stop and reattach it at times, which is a bit annoying. With a little improvement in that area, this would be a 5-star product. Still, for the pr ice and protection, it’s a solid buy and does exactly what I need it to do.

Perfect for protecting the head, face and neck areas when using a grinding wheel. Good quality (which was frankly surprising for Amazon) and a good price. Solid product will last and not heavy on the head. I easily use hearing protection, respirator mask and reading glasses while using this face shield. Nice to get an item on Amazon that I don't regret buying.

I ordered this as I watched sparks fly in our new steel garage building as my husband worked on something. After looking at several reviews and price points, I decided to get this one. It is an excellent face shield! As other reviews note, it fits well with the band that can be tightened or loosened, and one can wear eyeglasses easily underneath it. The day after it arrived, we had a tree fall across our road, and my husband wore it when he was using the chainsaw. He is thrilled with this item.

The product is at a good price. However the QC is either bad or the distributor gave me a returned product. One of the pegs to secure the mask cannot stay in place to secure the face shield. Face shield came with scratches. The aluminum frame is bent. I don't recommend it due to this reason. Could compromise wear ability and safety. Comfort was adequate.

This faceshield would probably have a solid 5-star rating from all 2,200 reviews if people knew to remove the film from BOTH sides of the shield; otherwise you end up with a bluish/green blurry vision problems while using angle grinder etc - - dangerous!This quallity shield is made very well made, safe, adjustable for all head sizes and flips up easily. My face is protected and I feel secure using this sheild when firing up grinder, saws etc.IMO, seller would no returns if a "Remove Flim" sticker was phave laced on both sides of shield.

Me gustó mucho la calidad del protector. La mica muy cristalina (hay que retirar los plasticos que la protegen) y el filo de aluminio le da mucha firmeza. El soporte para la cabeza igual muy solido y de calidad. Todo de plastico pero de muy buena calidad. Se siente muy firme y te protege bien toda la cara. Muy recomendable.

Very impressive face Shield. I was looking for a way to wear all my soapmaking gear together in a comfortable way. I noticed this face shield and decided to give it a try. Ive used it a couple of times so far and it works very well. I can wear my glasses, face mask and this shield with plenty of room to spare. It is a very clear shield. Once the blue plastic is peeled off both inside and outside of the shield, Comfort is the main reason Im so happy with this purchase because the way it sits on my head holds the mask around my ears and the glasses on without them falling off as I look down at my work. It fits so well the mask doesnt jab into my eyes the way it does without the shield. This is a great face shield. Lots of adjustments to fit different sized heads. As I bend my head down it doesnt jab into my chest either as some do if they are too long. I cant say anything about wether or not it is heat resistant as that is not what im using it for but the description says its heat resistant. And they are right about everything else. You wont be unhappy with this purchase and I highly recommend it.
