Manito Baby Shampoo Shower Hat/Cap/Visor/Shield (Dinosaur)

I have 3 children bought this for my infant, and it is just now (at 7 months) able to stay up. but he can easily pull it down or off if he wants. BUT i also use it on my 2 year old and 5 year old, and after a few uses, they now automatically put it on. it keeps the water out of their eyes and is well made. wish I would have ordered another one! I've tried all the shower hats and things to keep the water from going in their eyes, and this is the only one that stays on and actually works. they didn't like it at first, but once they realized it kept the water out of their eyes and ears, they love it. it's super easy to put on and take off and stays on well. I would buy again and definitely recommend!

My 7 year old absolutely HATED having his hair washed until I found this hat. He legit could not handle the water running into his eyes and ears. This hat actually allowed me to wash his hair without him screaming and freaking out. A few little drips make their way through but he just covers his face and ears with washcloth. It was definitely too tight for him the first few times and left a red indent around his head, but I just learned to wash his hair really quickly. It also stretched out, as the seller has assured other reviewers, and now is quite comfortable for him. A little tightness was a small price to pay for my son, who now has no reservations about hair washing. We struggled for 6 miserable years until I found this hat! My 3 year old also hates having his hair washed, so I follow the same routine with him. Adding the washcloth on their face for the little (tiny, really) drips makes it 100% tolerable for both of my boys. My first hat ripped along the inner elastic after maybe 50 uses, but I just came back and bought another because I can't go back to torturing my boys now that I found something that works.

This bath hat thing is saving the day in the bathtub. Our son was literally crying, "No soap" before and now he has no problem letting us wash his hair when using it. I gave it 4 stars because if your child forehead is wet at all and you have to re-arrange it, it won't stay in place. I have learned to give my son only one toy when I'm washing his hair so he doesn't move around a bunch and it stays put. Either way it's much better and prevents 99% of water run off from getting on his face. Wish I'd have looked into something like this sooner 😕 but glad we have it now!!

Kind of bummed I wasted my money and feel like I should have known this would be a flop. Went on pretty easy, just pulled it down and then back up (like a headband). Started to pour the water over hair and everything was fine at first, but then it would not stay up (it fit fine) and started sliding down my child’s face (which defeats the purpose). I had to hold it with one hand while pouring with the other (which would be fine if it kept the water out of face) and then the water started leaking through and going down my child’s face (again, defeating the purpose). Let’s just say it did not end in a happy bath time for anyone. With the other reviews I had hopes for this to work, but it just didn’t.

Let me start by saying that this does work pretty well. I purchased it for my 21 month-old son who has very recently developed a phobia of water running into his face. The hat fits well and keeps most water out of his face. The inner white ring is stretchy and will probably fit for at least another year. My only problem with this product was the price. I paid just under $11 for it, but when I received it, it looked like something I could have purchased in a dollar store. It is just a metal ring wrapped in a thin, rain jacket-like material with stretchy inner ring. That's it. So far it has held up for a few weeks, but I would not be shocked if it tore or started to wear out. I would be fine with getting another if it were in the $3-4 range, but $11 is a bit pricey for what it is...

Great product quality and fits my 4 year olds head perfect.. It works at doing what it’s supposed to do, tryed it once, but my kid has a hard time with hair still and he just refuses to use this unfortunately.. Was trying to make doing hair easier for him, so the water doesn’t get in his face, but I guess he just wants to keep doing it the hard way lol.. Cute assortment of designs makes it fun for the kiddos.. Definitely worth the try for the few bucks it costs! My childs refusal to use this has nothing to do with the product itself and would still recommend..

This bath hat works GREAT. My daughter is 7 months old, and we got this about a month ago. The first wear or so, it was a tiny bit too tight on her (her head size is in the 75th percentile if that helps for reference). It didn't seem to hurt her at all, but left a slight red mark. But after the 2nd wear it had stretched enough that now it is perfect. It seems like it will continue to stretch as she grows. It forms a perfect seal around her head, keeping all of the soapy water out of her eyes and ears, which is great! It dries really quickly, and if you twist it, it coils right up into a compact little circle, perfect for putting into a little ziplock baggie for travel. And, extra bonus, it looks hilariously cute when worn!

This is a lifesaver. I have a 5 year old autistic son who still to this day cannot take a bath without flipping out about water near his face. We've tried a lot of different methods but were exhausted when they didn't work. The product itself is perfect. It extends enough so the water just drips off. As long as he puts his head back, it falls towards the back of the head instead of near his face. I was a bit worried that since I read reviews about these fitting adult heads as well as childrens, but I can see why. It's VERY stretchy so when you receive it, the circle looks pretty small but expands really well and seems comfortable. I would recommend to those having problems with bath time. I wish I would have had it as a kid.

I thought this would be the perfect solution; my 4y.o refuses to try it on! I decided I'd try it out in the shower, it's not uncomfortable, though wasnt designed for my big head, it leaked a teeny bit, but with a bit of adjusting it worked. The noise from the shower landing onto the brim might be a bit much for some toddlers; kind of like loud white noise. I'm going to persist in trying to get my daughter to wear it seeing as she wont let me wash her hair as she fears getting shampoo in her eyes. Wish me luck. All in all, it is a little exxy, but it hasnt fallen apart yet so providing it lasts a while itll be a good investment.

Lo mejor para mi hija que detestaba mojarse la cara, ahora ha cambiado pero tardaba demasiado en lavarle el cabello, con este artículo el baño se volvió algo más fácil.

Way way too small. Even for a baby. So tight it flips when on and uncomfortable to wear. Leaves red marks.

Love it! Does not fit as easily as it appears though. It does take a bit of fiddling with it to get it to sit right on the head of the child. I would have given it a five star had it been a more reasonable price. I found it to be a bit expensive for what it is, but overall it was a great buy and a great help at bath time with the wee one who does NOT like the water in her eyes.

This is a life saver at bath time! I use to use those headbands on my daughter but she started taking them off during bath time, and it was brutal. The first time I used this on her she wasn’t sure about it so she was still unhappy, until she realized that the water doesn’t come near her face and run into her eyes. Now bath time is exciting for her again and she loves getting her hair washed:)
