Great gift but need to purchase additional items.
I highly recommend purchasing either a waxed type of thread or a hemp type cord for this. Its great fun and my 8 year old and I had a great bonding experience with it. That said the thread that comes with it is simply that, just thread. If you want the bracelets to look as they do in the picture, you will not get that with inculded string. There is no "grip" to it and no matter how you knot ut or hold the beads as you go along, the string will eventually wind up behind the bread and not stay on the side. You will need to purchase a type of thread that has "grip" ( waxed or hemp for example). Other than that it is great fun.Instructions are perfect and it is easy to make. I did have to start and finish the bracelets for my 8 year old, but after showing her a few times how to do the beading, she was able to do that on her own and had a great sense of accomplishment.I would have paid more for the product if it came with "grippable" thread. My daughter was upset we could not make them properly straight out of the box.

Lieferung war sehr schnell und problemlos. Allerdings habe ich etwas mehr Inhalt für eine solche riesengroße Verpackung erwartet. Die Armbänder waren alle in 2h gebastelt. Die Qualität und die Auswahl der Perlen ist so lala... you get what you've paid for... und mitgelieferte Satinschnur lässt sich nicht ohne Kleber dauerhaft verschnüren. Da wären ausschließlich Leder- oder Baumwollbänder effektiver gewesen... aber für den Anfang zum Erlernen der Technik ist es ok.
