Steel Nose Hackamore Barrel Racing Bit This fairly powerful Hackamore comes with a narrow metal nose piece which drops into a lowered position. The proper adjustment is 1 to 2 Inch lower than the normal hackamore. The amount of rate is surprising and while providing plenty of flex for turns. The cable slobber bar is covered with soft plastic. This Hackamore is recommended for educated riders with well schooled, but strong or very keen horses. The curb chain is attached with quick links. Whoa maker.
Awesome bit. Not for the heavy-handed. Contains my barrel horses drama. CONTROL but will flip one over if not a highly advanced rider. NOT FOR BEGINNERS!!!!

Very pleased with this hackamore!
It's very similar to the Reinsman ladybug. Really not much difference at all. The nose band isn't quite as rounded as the nose band on the ladybug which actually makes it fit a horse with a little bit wider nose but still would fit the standard size horse. Overall, I'm very pleased with this hackamore.
