NCIS: Los Angeles: Season 3

I am an NCIS fan through and through. Most spinoffs are the same old tired plot, character template, etc. This is not the case, the LA group is totally different, except maybe the banter of two of the parallel men. But in general, the moment a plot was laid down, the action started.There are a few things i adore, one is Linda Hunt. What a wonderful woman she is in real life. Too short, too old, to fragile looking. Here is a woman that has beaten the odds in Hollywood, not beautiful, not tall and willowy, not the common beauty of the industry, but boy can she act, and she is capible of carrying her unpredictability onto the screen. You can almost believe that she in real life has lived the exciting life portrayed on the screen.In general, all the characters are believable. You ride the ups and downs with them, and in the end cheer them on.I do not agree with the number of fatal shots our beloved characters leave behind, but i keep watching and cheering them on. Nor do i like the predictability of the bad guys running and being chased, but i keep watching.In the last epidsode, in the last scene, i rushed right out and ordered season 4.

Dvd's are in good shape and packaging. I want to point out in this review that I made a choice to purchase this series by INDIVIDUAL season's rather than a big condensed package because of the poor reviews of the condensed packaging/product. I am happy with my choice I want to add. I have seen this done in respect to other TV DVD series. I don't know who decides to do these things, but I guess they find the cheapest way to do it and the consumer pays for it literally!! However, usually not the case in this one! Or not so far!

For years our family had been ardent fans of the original NCIS... but then a couple of years ago, we all lost interest. Then quite by accident, I saw NCIS LA on a re-run channel ... and I decided to give it a try as it looked good! We now have ordered NCIS LA seasons 1-6 ... and we LOVE the show more than we even liked the original NCIS!!! They play more like movies than the normal run of the mill drama TV!!! The service, as usual, has been excellent and prompt!!! Well worth buying... well worth owning since I don't believe this series is available on Netflix!!!

Disc 1 & 6 had some pretty bad scratches considering this was supposed to be very good condition. Fortunately it wasn’t costly. Not only that I discovered disc 4 was missing. Someone didn’t check before shipping

I'm giving this 4 stars all because of LL and Chris. If this was a buddy cop show with just the two of them and Linda Hunt it would be perfect. Eric Christian Olsen is also good as comedy relief. Those are the highlights. The down sides, they don't really write good options for Daniela Ruah. She sort of gets the story line shaft. Barrett Foa and Renee FElice SMith are sort of shoe horned in when they need some "technical" stuff instead of making them part of the team. I hope it gets a lot better because I love the buddy relationship between LL and Chris.

I just started watching this series. I love how they combine action and comedy. The character's story lines are interesting and the camaraderie between the actors is great. I can't wait to see the remaining seasons!

I'll admit to shamelessly reading spoilers, so I knew they were going to do this kind of Episode, and I have to say the writers didn't disappoint. The chemistry was great as usual, but the comedy is what keeps me coming back for more. I really got a kick out of it, and although the season is almost over I think next year will be even better between these two characters.The only thing I want to know is the name of the song that is playing when Deeks wakes up, if anyone knows and can tell me I'd really appreciate it. If I am not mistaken its by the Wallflowers or at least by Jakob Dylan... or maybe its not and that is why I cannot figure out who does the song.

Why disappointed? I didn't want Hawaii Five O; I wanted NCIS: LA. The first two of the first season were NCIS. I could live with that as it was an introduction, and the shows are about the same agency. I would rather stick with NCIS: LA, and hope to know in advance whether I am buying something else as I might not want to buy the fourth season. Otherwise, I would have given this 5 stars as it was excellent as usual. The DVD's come stacked, two overlapping. You have to remove one to get to another, then remove again to replace. One DVD came loose and was scratched during shipping but seems to play OK.

I cannot recommend the NCIS series (both original and Los Angeles) enough. The story lines are impeccable, acting very strong, characters intense and full of both action and comedy, what more could anyone want? Series three starts off where we were left hanging in the second series and pulls it together brilliantly weaving more threads through the series of which some were brought together and some were left open (no spoiler alerts here!).Whilst there were some filler episodes which in the main were weaker the series as a whole took us to a new depth in the NCIS Los Angeles saga. There were new characters introduced and closure on some we had met before. I think the one key factor in this series was the character development across the team excellently written.Overall if you have not seen any NCIS start at the begining and I imagine you to will come to love it.

I really have enjoyed watching this series but do highly recommend watching from series one as you get to know the characters and find out their stories from both their professional and personal lives.I wish this one had been around for a while then I'd have more to watch having watched all 4 seasons about a dozen times now. It's brilliantly packed with both action and drama and overall excellent stories which follow on.Season 3 is my absolute favourite of them all though - I highly recommend watching it as you'd get as addicted as I am!!

I was really dissappointed when i unwrapped dvd today and placed it in player it was in a foreign language on the other discs i have bought it gives you the option of what language to be used but not on this one could you send a ENGLISH replacement of this dvd NCIS LOS ANGELES SEASON 3 ENGLISH VERSION REQUIRED PLEASE SEND REPLACEMENT AND RETURN DETAILS SO I CAN RETURN FOREIGN LANGUAGE THANK YOU

NCIS LA just keeps getting better. Unusual for a spin-off, this is better than the original in my opinion.The casting is excellent as the team gels well, with Hetty (the magnificent Linda Hunt) in charge. Hetty is such a tiny, softly-spoken lady that there is so much comedy in the way her tough,highly-trained agents are frightened to death by her while thinking the world of her.Beautifully photographed,with good plots and a comedic edge, this series will keep you entertained.The only downside - waiting for Season 4!

I bought this boxset for my daughter who missed season 3 on Sky. Watched the series within days and really enjoyed them.
