Title said it all. Highlight of the whole volume. Proof our Male protag is a healthy young man. Fantasies, gentlemen. It's what fuels us to do good in the world of witches.

Daughter VS Mother starts off this volume as Kagari and Medusa take on the schools headmistress, which gets them tossed into a time out room. Can the Witch and her Princess escape and go to school the next day? Then its the first day as president for Takamiya, and a gang of ruffians invade the school and cause trouble. What is the cause of it and can he stand up to Bear Killer Rinon who also trained under Kagari's mother? Then we get a look at the past and a peek as to why Kagari is so attached to Takamiya. Then Kagari takes her apprentice training to fight, but can he control his new abilty, and why does it look a little strange?This series has been following the anime very well. The story is enjoyable and well paced, and you get to see a few things about the Princess of the school you would not expect. I cannot wait for the next one, and wish they would get a second season of the anime started.

I've written a number of reviews about how much I love this story. I don't bother with plot descriptions since they're in the listings, and if you're looking at volume 4, I think you've got an idea what the story is like. It's not terribly ecchi, there's little fan service, though the author himself recognizes Kagari and Kazane ended up taller and bustier than he thought or intended. Meh. A minor issue and it doesn't detract from the story at all.

I am enjoying this series very much so far. I'm a fan of more light hearted manga/anime, ones withour much drama, and this one definitely fits that.
