They should not be submerged, or left in rainy conditions for extended periods of time." From an outside source I found online: "The technical definition of water resistant is that it's able to resist the penetration of water to a certain degree, but not entirely. Waterproof technically means that it's impermeable to water, no matter how much time it spends in water." Below is from the seller... Anybody know how bright these lights are? Lumens?

They definitely show up when it is dark. I bought one for the back tire area and one for the front area to make sure they would be seen. There is also a flashing setting that should get the attention of motorists.

Are they easily removed to prevent theft?

No. They are not easily removed. Easier to remove the bike tires than to remove the lites.

I have a wide frame ebike. Where can I get longer silicon straps to mount this light to the frame?

I have the same e bike with wider frame so I have to use longer regular tights. Just a note, the lights are not as bright as expected.
