Packaged AMAZINGLY. High quality, sturdy piece, great value!
Oh my God this frame is gorgeous!!! I have purchased probably 50 to 60 various types of frames from Target and one other on Amazon. This is by far THE BEST quality and value and was packaged expertly!!! I ordered this after I had one delivered by Target that arrived in pieces. This was sealed with bumper pieces of foam on it in a box within an Amazon box. I am amazed at the quality for the price!! It is exactly what I was looking for to frame this print for my baby's room. I removed the included mat to make it fit 11×14

Update 8/13/19: Frame purchase & returns
Update 8/13/19: Received the 3rd frame and yet again still damaged. There are two dots on the top and two dots on the bottom this time (previous images posted). The last frame the dots were on the sides. No clue what this is from, but it’s a shame. If anyone has had this experience can you share how you fixed them?? I’m frustrated now and don’t want to try and order a 4th frame. This is crazy. The quality assurance on these frames is really not good. Hence the 4 to 2 stars now.Update 8/10/19: Decided to exchange the damaged frame and received the replacement frame - also damaged. I really like this frame and will try once more to order a 3rd time and see what happens. Changed from 4 stars to 3 since I have to order a 3rd one. See images.Initial review: Really pretty frame! The color is more blonde than yellow toned which is what I was hoping for. It was really well packaged - only thing is the frame has a small dent at the top. I’m in design and my eye caught it right away. Now I need to decide if I want to hassle the return for a replacement. Otherwise, it looks more expensive than it is.

Looks More Light Brown Than Gray
Arrived without damage. It was securely packed in its own box, which was in an Amazon box. It had plastic wrapping and styrofoam was protecting the edges. It’s rustic gray but looks more brownish to me. I’m glad a sawtooth hanger is on the back. I’m happier that it’s in the middle instead of two little hooks on each end like some frames (less nails, less holes in the wall). I like the ivory mat but it had to be removed because of the size of my print.

Fantastic value
This frame looks WAY more expensive than it is - I'm really pleasantly surprised by the quality and recommended it to a few other people. It's just what I was looking for and fits a creative and chic aesthetic. The only thing is that the other reviews mention is that it doesn't have a 'backing' so you'll have to tape your picture into the frame. If you had something delicate to frame like I did, you can hack that by just taping a white piece of paper tightly around it.

16×20 Matted Frames (Set of 2)
Received frames and the quality is very sturdy. Not at all light or flimsy. Very well packaged. Color of frame is black with a wood like look. Loved them.Be advised that the matte is ivory and not at all white. Which I was aware of and will make it work with my bedding since the item had the best reviews for the value of all others seen. I ordered 16×20 for my 11×14 prints and fit perfectly. Very satisfied with my purchase. Would be great if seller could offer a set with white matte in the future. Overall great product.

Attractive and adaptable
I think this is a really nice frame for the price. Strangely, it's very difficult to find a simple, classic wood frame unless you want to pay a lot, lot more. I purchased a pair of 16 x 20 for a show recently and got a lot of compliments on them. People assumed they were real wood. They go well with some custom maple frames I had made for a show a few years ago. I ordered another pair to have on hand. How I adapted them for my needs:1. I removed the shadow insert, painted the inside of the insert a linen white color to match the matboard, and then was able to put that in front of the mat. ("glass, insert, mat and artwork" vs. how the frame comes "glass, mat, insert, artwork") I prefer this look. You have the option of "floating" your mounted artwork instead of using the mat, too.2. I was not happy with the hanging "hardware," so I drilled holes in the frame itself and installed d-rings and picture wire. Make sure you pre-drill. I tried just screwing it in, but because these frames are not solid wood, the frame material shredded and gave way.As an artist, these adaptations were simple and I'm very happy with the results, especially for the price.

High Quality and Beautiful
Between you and me I usually spend $10 or less on a picture frame... but I recently purchased a painting I loved and wanted the perfect frame for it, this seemed to be the only one to fit the bill, and WOW. The frame is heavy and nice quality. I didn’t notice any chipping and the frame seemed well packaged. I thought the depth options for the frame were cool too, the deep set photo seems fancy to me compared to just having it pushed to the glass like most frames! My painting is an 11x14 and I felt like the mat was exactly that same size. I would have preferred it to have a little bit smaller of an opening so I didn’t have to be so careful getting the edges perfect. Not sure if my photo is actually a little small or if the mat is cut a little big. But the end result is lovely and I wouldn’t hesitate to order again.

Looks nice
Nice-looking frame and feels solid. It took me a lot of time to frame because the particle-board frame kept shedding little pieces onto the glass no matter how well I cleaned it. As soon as I try to put the picture into the frame, there are little cardboard-like specks on the glass again. The artwork I was trying to frame is light-colored so any darker specks were seen easily. I also had to tape the artwork down because the frame is slightly larger than the 11" x 14" picture so it shifted in the frame. I accidentally pulled some Scotch tape off at one point and the wood-finish came right off. The finish is paper-thin and luckily, I can't tell looking at the frame. But don't get anything sticky on it.
