ACDelco Gold TF316 Automatic Transmission Fluid Filter Kit with Seal

Fit perfect in my 2002 Pontiac Grand AM 2.2L Ecotec. Comes with a new seal that goes in the transmission. It was a bit difficult to get the old seal out, and I was nervous about crushing the new one installing it, but all went well. Once your old filter is out use a clean rag to wipe out the inside of the existing seal, then use a flash light to inspect it. If the rubber ring looks good you can get away without replacing it, and save yourself the time of replacing a good seal. Came with a rubber pan gasket, but I bought the expensive Felpro replacement gasket with the metal insert around each bolt hole. The factory gasket is designed to be reused, so you can reuse and save some money if it's not damaged.

Fit like a glove when replacing the old trans oil filter in my saturn. I opted to remove the old gasket/seal and used the one provided fit like a champ.Edit: After reading the confusion of the other reviews i felt it necessary to add some information. In the original review i used the provided gasket/seal for the filter this is a small circular metal gasket that sits inside of the transmission housing. The seal helps to hold the large black filter assembly in place. My guess is that the gasket in the shape of LA is there to help visualize the fitting as nothing like it comes in the package. As always check the OEM part numbers to make sure that the fitment is correct.

good oem part

Filter was an exact fit. The reusable gasket that is pictured with the filter IS NOT INCLUDED, but after 107,000 miles my original was a little stiffer than I wanted to put on. I ended up buying a Fel-pro gasket at o'reillys. My package had 2 of the round gaskets that go between the tranny and the filter, so somebody is probably missing one.

Fit and worked like a charm

Perfect fit, did not include new magnets required per Saturn LW1 service bulletin, which I ordered separately.
