I have two golden retrievers that are hard to walk at the same time as they like to pull. This waist lead has helped them walk and run so much better. There is no pulling and straining your shoulder with this lead set. I have gone from struggling to walk with one dog at a time to walking and running with both of my dogs.

I have been using the hands-free leash for only one week. I am finding that the dogs walk nicely together on it. The leash is very well made and the bungee areas take the pressure off of all of us if we happen upon a squirrel or rabbit. I like the extra length of the lead so I can let the girls wander more when we are off the road in a field or park. I do find the leash heavy so it sometimes hangs on the ground when the girls are walking nicely with me, even when I have it shortened (I'm only 5' 2" tall). This downfall is offset by how the dogs correct each other and it give our shy, skittish dog more confidence. The joiner spins so the leads don't get twisted if the dogs want to change sides and the handles are comfortable. If I only take one dog out for a walk I don't use this leash. I tried it once but prefer a simple, lighter leash.

I typically don't leave reviews for products purchased but I couldn't pass this up as this one definitely deserves a 5+ star rating! I have two Golden Doodles - each weighing about 50 pounds. Trying to walk the two of them together was a challenge to say the least. In preparation for an upcoming trip, I wanted to be able to walk both dogs as much as possible but without the aggravation of two leashes and each dog wanting to go in different directions. I searched the internet for the best possible solution and I came across this. Upon receipt, I first tried it in the house, then out into a fenced yard and then short trips up and down the street. It took a little getting used to but yesterday I decided to try a little longer of a walk. No problems at all! They each walked, side by side without any issues. One of the dogs pulls quite a bit on the leash when we walk and at first she did the same thing but as we walked, I noticed that she pulled less and less. I'm not a hiker so I didn't think I would use the waist strap but I decided to give it a try and I'm glad I did! It really takes the pressure off elbows and shoulders! Both of my dogs are also almost equal height which also helps. This a great way to take them for a walk and not feel beat up by the time you get home! Really glad I purchased this!
