All-Purpose Lap Desk Color: Blue

I bought this lap desk to replace one with a beanbag type bottom that was literally coming apart at the seams. This one is so much better.I was a little concerned at first that the wrist cushion would get in the way but it doesn't. It's actually really comfortable and it keeps my laptop from sliding off when I have it positioned at odd angles.I was also not thrilled about the blue color when I first placed the order but I really didn't want black or bright pink so I settled for blue. It is much prettier in person than the picture shows. It's a gorgeous shade, not too dark, not to bright, and the best part... IT SPARKLES! (I know my girly side is showing) The plastic top has a nice, subtle glittery sheen to it. Not too flashy, just a little something extra.The desk top is big enough for my 15 inch laptop. If I place it all the way over to one side, there's just enough room for a small wireless mouse. I'm sure a 17 inch laptop would fit without the mouse. The desktop is also a hard plastic which is great when I use this for old fashioned pen and paper. (my last one had some sort of fake leather top that was too soft for writing on) The smooth rounded corners and edges don't dig into my arms and the memory foam bottom is really comfortable and more stable than the beanbag variety . I've tested it in all kinds of contorted positions and haven't had an issue once. It's a little on the heavy side for picking up and moving around and it's definitely too big to fit in a bag for travel, but it's not uncomfortable in my lap for long study sessions on the couch. I love this thing!

I seems to be well made and looks good. The armrest feels like a hard surface covered with foam. There is an adhesive like film on the front corners that I can't remove. There's a flexible wire between the memory foam and blue fabric that's protruding. For these reasons, I give it 3 stars.

I love this lap desk! I've made them from wood, tried others over my lifetime, this is by far the best I've ever bought. My new MacBook Pro 13" lip is even with the foam pad, my hands and arms rest and move perfectly and smoothly and comfortably--important for me as I have RA. The tilt is perfect and it stays lightly, cooly and comfily without any kind of sliding or moving. I have been using it steadily for about a month and my computer hasn't yet heated up or made any whirring sounds. The surface is cool and smooth. The blue is pretty! I mostly use it in my recliner where I have set up an alternate office (I used it before, but not for long periods. Now it's fine.) My phone rests next to my computer. The lap pad's width is perfect for the chair. I also use it occasionally on my own lap at my office chair (other room). I spend so much time on the computer--this great product adds a good deal of flexibility to my work routine. Beautifully constructed and finished, very nice detail. The handle is an unexpected plus for carting around with my mobile computer and "stuff." Great product! 5 stars and a THANK YOU!

I really like the quality of Sophia and Sam lap desks.. they are lightweight, have a handy carrying handle and a great cleanable surface which ensures your laptop is actually getting the airflow along the bottom. My previous one I bought 8 years ago came with a battery operated light but had a zipper near my legs that I did not enjoy as it's zip would often poke me (hanging down) on my legs when wearing shorts. I liked the solidity of the desk on your lap, the level it puts the keyboard for my hands, and it has a slightly heat dispersing texture on the bottom. You won't want to expose the bottom or sides to velcro or things that will pull and snag it as it's almost a netting but otherwise a wise buy.

Love this thing! When I first opened it, I thought it might be too heavy, but after placing it on my lap w/ my computer, I was surprised that is wasn't. My MacBook Pro fits perfectly w/ some room on either side. The wrist pad has been most helpful in keeping it the correct position to alleviate discomfort. My only issue is that there or no channels to help w/ heat build up. I know some will be using it for a writing desk, so I see the reasoning behind it being flat. My solution has been to stick two small rubber furniture pads on each side of the top to give a little rise and make space for air circulation to dissipate the heat. Works like a charm. Now it's perfect! Don't know what I did w/out it all these years.

This-Is-Awesome!. I work sitting cross legged on the couch mostly, and this desk balances perfectly. Loads of room for my 15" macbook pro. The raised rest is very comfortable for typing, and it's a handy place for a pen, between the rest and the laptop. I had a cheap lap desk before from B&N, no support in the corners and then it just cracked, THIS one is super durable feeling. the soft stuff resting on my legs is comfy and not wobbly, the edges of the top of the desk are smooth and rounded for comfort and the sturdy top is like half inch thick. SO comfy. I am delighted with this. I was very skeptical to get a new one after my last horrid one, been using a pillow, totally annoying. Now I am so happy, this lapdesk is Awesome. the top, btw feels like a corian type material. You will love this. search no further.

First off, the product is very high quality. Probably the best lap desk I have ever seen or used. The hard plastic top prevents my computer from overheating and the memory foam is thick enough so that no heat passes through. My laptop has rubber stoppers, so it doesn't slide around, but even if I were to read a book on it, the wrist pad would keep it in place and prevent it from moving. The lap desk is very large so if you have anything smaller than a 15 inch laptop and do not have a need for an external mouse or the wrist pad, then you may want to consider getting the smaller version (attached photos of the lap desk with a 14 inch laptop). After buying the product, I decided to downgrade to the smaller version and Sofia + Sam were very helpful with the replacement. I haven't received it yet, but if it is anything like this, I am sure I will be very happy.

広い座卓の上にPCを置き、37ｃｍほどの籐椅子にこしかけて膝の上で使用する状態で。○　キーボードとマウス(通常の広さのマウスボードで)を両方置くには狭い。○キーボーだけを使うには快適○マウスだけを使うには広すぎる。○重い。　ゲームとかでマウスを長時間使っているとひしひしと重い。あと少し軽いと快適だと思うが、いろいろ考えたうえで考案された製品だろう。星は3.5かな。
