Well made, safe, incredibly sharp blade. For those who have never used a Japanese branded box knife (2 brands that I know of), these are a totally different class of product than the USA or Chinese branded junk. Good materials, good tolerances, strong, no wobble of the blade, scalpel sharp and long lasting blades. Only downside is you trade the pros of safety and solid for the downside of the tightening wheel requires 2 hands.

This is one of many Olfa knives. I like the added steel lip to open paint cans. These work great and last a long time.

This utility knife became an instant favorite for me in the short time I’ve used it.It’s so easy to adjust the length with the little wheel, and then tighten it again to get a firm and tough blade. Will use it for future art projects.

So much better than a standard razor knife/box cutter for many applications. It’s lighter, easier to change blades, and the blade quality is consistently good. The only issue is not having easy and safe disposal of the snap off blades. It would be better to have the handle design include temporary storage of these sharp metal objects.

OLFAs are my go-to utility jobsite knives. The turn-knob works better for me than a slider lock. And the protruding end is useful in many more different ways than for prying open paint cans. Glad it was available from a domestic vendor AAA industrial supply. Back to work!

This thing is very sharp and has no wobble. It is also very easy to put away as the wheel is not too hard to adjust.

Bought a couple cheap ones from hf and hd that were terribly unsafe. This one does the trick, so far the mechanism hasn't shown any signs of wear. Great that you just chop away small parts of the blade instead of flip and throw out a whole blade.
