Type of pole needed?  My present head clamped onto my fiberglass pole, will this one also clamp on to the pole?

Drake - for optimal performance, you will want to use any of the Jameson Fiberglass Base or Extension Poles to use with any Jameson Fiberglass Pole attachment; especially, the JA-34DP-PKG big Mouth Side Cut Double Pully Tree Pruner Kit. Jameson pole models can be used together in a variety of combinations - all have the same ferrules. For highest performance and safety, Jameson recommends using a base pole when using one pole or starting with a base pole when working with multiple poles. Can this be used with the green ls series jameson poles? the pictures show the yellow ones

Yes it can be used with the Green (LS), Yellow (FG/FGA), or Blue (BL) Jameson poles. As long as that pole has a female ferrule (one with a spring clip)

Length of rope?

the rope is long enough to use with 2 poles & have some left over. not sure about 3 cause I don't hav a 3rd pole, but you could always lengthen it. the pruner itself is great & a professional tool. 100 times better then the ones at home depot or lowes.

Will this jameson pole adapter work with notch poles?  i already have the notch 40207 saw set but need a pruner.
