This little tool is a game changer! Surprising quality! I have xeriscape for my front yard and my landscaper went the cheapest route building my plant watering system with cheap pvc hoses and tee connectors. It started falling apart in less than a year. The tee connectors break frequently. This pvc cutter has allowed me to cut the hoses and replace the broken connectors with ease. This has saved me money and time. I really can’t say enough good things about this product and I don’t know how I’ve gone so many years without a pipe cutter. This thing makes cutting through PVC pipe like a knife through butter. I had seen home improvement shows where somebody used one and I finally decide to order one and this particular one has been outstanding.! The price is beyond fair for what you get in my opinion and assuming it holds up it is just a fantastic product.

Tended to partially collapse 1/2-inch PVC but had no problem inserting cut ends into fittings. Super-fast cutting beats traditional pipe / tubing cutter for ease of use. Highly recommend for DIY projects. I don't think I'd recommend for commercial heavy use, but it does appear to be sturdy enough to hold up to normal home use. For the price, it can't be beat. Very satisfied I decided to get it instead of one of the more expensive ones. Made short work of the cutting I had to do for the project I was working on.

I bought this to occasionally cut open golf balls to examine the construction. They work well.

Solid construction, easy to use - but a cutter is really only as good as its blade. And the blade on this one is quite bad. Or at least the one I got was. 3rd cut of a schedule 40 PVC pipe and the blade just chipped apart. Photo attached. It only came with one. I am loathed to try and buy new blades for it unless the ones at my local hardware store will fit it. As little as I need it - it should have lasted a while. Amending this review: I took this apart to dump the metal at a local recycling center. In the process discovered that *if* you actually wanted to replace the blade - that is not at all easy. It is a large part of the tool and difficult to take out. Probably more so to put a new one in. Cutting blade is complete junk. Hopefully whatever this metal may be recycled into will be more useful.

I bought this cutters by mistake. But when they go to my house, I opened it and they look. Amazing defender has great quality and looks like they work. Amazing.

The product works perfectly. Just not sure what its life will be as the quality of the materials is not the best. That being said at the price I have no complaints
