Weighted Hula Hoop, ACU Hoop 6L - 5.3lb Large, Weight Loss Fitness Exercise Sports Hoop with ridges (Rainbow Colors)

I was a bit confused as to what size hoop to order since there are so many options, just from Sports Hoops alone. I used their sizing chart to determine which hoop to get. I thought I was ordering the 5L (4.9 lbs), but when I received the package I realized I ordered the 6L (5.2 lbs) instead. It is heavier than I anticipated and prior to using it the box states that some soreness and bruising can occur. I began using it and felt like it is too heavy to continue to keep on my body as I hula hooped. I gave it another try and began to immediately get pain on my hips where it was hitting. I ended up having to add a waist trainer and a neoprene sweat vest just so that it was bearable to hoop. The wavy portions on the hoop are supposed to stimulate core muscles but, if I mainly feel the pain on my hips. I initially purchased the hoop to help with hip pain and it just feels like the Weighted Hoop, Weight Loss Sports Hoop: ACU Hoop 6L is doing the opposite.

The ridges make this hoop hurt and can leave you bruised.Instructions come with a warning of causing bruising. Beginners should only do it 1 to 3 minutes.

Love this hula hoop! Exactly what I needed to upgrade from 3 to 6 lbs. Despite the suggested min weight of 140lbs, I am very comfortable using it being 136lbs. Maybe because I was exercising with a 3lb hoop for many months... I strongly believe that it does trim your waist if you dedicate yourself to it. With a 3-lb one I used to hula hoop for 30-40min straight while watching a movie or listening to an audio book.

Love the weight of this hula hoop. I purchased the 6lbs hoop so far so good.My weight is 200+ so the weight is perfect for me to hoop and feel the burn!Also love the color range!only thing I didn’t like was to have paid $16 for shipping with ups it shouldn’t have taken almost to weeks to arrive.other than that no other complaints!

I like this. Hooping while warching tv. The only negative for me is the foam it is too soft that is easy to tear off. Yes this is really for advance who can control it without dropping often otherwise you will tear the foam off when it dropped to the concrete or rough ground. I can say, I am im advance so I'm not worried. In general it is good.

Easy to assembleFirst few days will hurt and you might bruise but after that it’s a great workout and your body adjusts

This is my 3rd weighted hoop (different weights) and this one has held up pretty good. Would definitely recommend this hoop
