M2M Communications: A Systems Approach 1st Edition

To be recommended if an overall introduction to the IOT / M2M realm is required. In the first chapters, an introduction from the business and market perspectives (2012) can be found. In the rest of the book, some description of architectures and deployment strategies is included. A consideration about different applicable protocols is also found in the final chapters.

Very good book. It did not address the lte connectivity for m2m in deep but as an introductory book it is perfect.

The book is not just a collection of papers on certain M2M communication topics but a coincise in-depths discussion on M2M technology. All chapters are well-written in a text-book style and provide good bibliography.

This seems to cover all the topics in M2M currently. I needed an overview and this provides one.I am using it for an independent study.
