Finally got it installed. Put seat on just fine by myself. Could not get nut loose that holds fill unit inside tank so could not connect water. Plumber sawed it off! Then he got manuals all wet. I think we might like it and will update review. Seat is pretty small for adults!

Replacement/upgrade for the Kohler cold water version which I was happy with other than the cold water. Works well and feels like good quality. My only complaints are that it has a built-in "night light" that cannot be turned off. Really don't need to see my toilet bowl lit up like a Christmas tree (especially if it needs cleaning). And, even though the seat heating can be turned off (don't need my butt warmed to do my business), it randomly comes on anyway. I don't know if this is a defect or something I'm doing to accidentally turn on.But generally very happy with this.

This seat is easy to install and works so well. We have used 1/2 the toilet paper and feel cleaner than ever. I recommend it for anyone looking to save money and increase their health by being clean.

This is absolutely wonderful!It took some time and effort for my husband to install it, but is absolutely worth it. This is considerably nicer than other add on bidets, giving control over water temperature and pressure, and how far forward the wand extends (on the remote) for front and back cleansing. I like that the controls put the front extension first, as it's important for women to cleanse front to back. With the wand the least extended for front cleaning, I found that I needed to lean forward a little bit, but with it in the most extended position, I could sit normally. Water pressure can also be adjusted on the controls attached to the seat, as can the heat setting. I'll nver want to use an ordinary toilet again. The only thing that surprised me, though I suppose it shouldn't have, is that you need to push the stop button, as the length of time it sprays has no default (that I've found). The only thing it doesn't have that I wish it did is air drying, but by sitting there a little while longer, or patting dry with TP or a dedicated, personal washcloth, that problem is solved. Thanks to an allergy to paper, I wasn't able to use TP for a long time, so we have rather a lot of personal washcloths now available to become drying cloths now. It's well worth it knowing you're really clean!I knew that using this would give a cleaner feeling than toilet paper, but am impressed by how very much more it gives. Although the extra plumbing at the back of the seat does take up some real estate, the seat is still very comfortable, and I have not found it to force me to sit in anything other than an anatomically correct position.The warm seat and nightlight are lovely extras. I also love that the bidet sanitizes the wand daily, using UV light, which is a perfect solution for any concerns one might have about the potential for bacteria to get any foothold in there. I realize that at least one reviewer found the pitch of the seat unformfortable, but we have not found it to be such as would put us off using it. I surmise it is there because this allows them to flash heat the water there.I'm very happy with this, and am way beyond happy that we were able to get this. It mightn't make as much a difference in the life of someone without a paper allergy, but it sure is making a huge one in mine. Even if its finally version is somewhat different than this version, I will gladly sing its praises to anyone who wants to hear then. All toilets should give you such peace of mind!

This Kohler bidet is so nice. I am really happy with this bidet toilet seat. A bidet is eco friendly because you don't use/use much less toilet paper and gets you cleaner than toilet paper. If you have IBS or mobility issues, a bidet will help you get clean.I have no plumbing experience and little DIY experience and easily installed this myself. Unfortunately, I didn't realize until I put it on that it doesn't fit my 1960s era toilet.. It's about an inch and half longer than the bowl. I've been debating replacing my toilet anyway, so this seat puts the final nail in the old toilet coffin. Since I had it installed I tried out all the features before taking it off, awaiting the new bowl.One thing I love is that this seat this only has one water line because it has a built in heater that instantly warms the water. My previous bidet seat needed a hot water hookup and tubes running from the toilet to the back of the sink cabinet. You will need a grounded (3 prong) electrical outlet relatively close to the toilet. Luckily mine is about 3 ft above the toilet, so I could plug it in easily but I had to get an adapter as it is not grounded (my house was built in 1941 and the electric has never been updated). The water temperature and pressure are both adjustable so you never feel like you're being blown away or not clean enough. It has UV light sanitation which automatically kills germs.The handheld remote control are very easy to to use. It has programmable presets. You can adjust the pressure, temperature and front/rear wash modes. The heated seat will be VERY welcome come winter in my frigid bathroom. It has adjustable temperature settings so you can get just the right amount of toasty bun warming.The bowl has LED lighting to act as a nightlight. I have to keep the lid closed because I have cats who like to drink from the toilet, so I am not sure how well this works at night. I found the quiet close lid closed a little too slowly but it is very quiet.Overall, I am very happy with it and look forward to getting a new toilet to use it daily.
