Raw Paws Boost Pet Food Topper - Freeze-Dried Cheese, 3.6-oz - Picky Eaters

My dog love it.

Omg this is a great thing for a mom of 2 fussy 5 lb fur babies. For 4 yrs they go thru phases, love their food cant get enough, then sniff and walk away. For the last yr or so I've been cutting the cesar wet foodi in 8ths and mixing wet with dry and with variety of flavors they eat part then wait, eat more etc. At least they were eating. As a treat once in while would put shredded cheddar on top to start them off, they eat the cheese, leave the food. Then I saw this. Omg, since it's almost powder it gets on everything and they love it. Lick bowls clean everytime now for last few weeks mornings and night. I am thrilled. So much stress taken off me.

My picky baby loves the added flavor and that's what matters. Only 4 stars as it's a bit spendy.

Our dogs did not like it

Apparently it tastes good, my dog won’t eat the same thing too frequently so to change things up I sprinkle this over his food and he eats it right up. I first tried the cheese flavor, then when I needed to replace it I saw they had peanut butter flavoring too so I got one as well as another cheese flavoring and he loves them both. It really helps get him to eat when he is being picky.

I've been buying this topper for quite some time and my dogs love the taste. They get very unhappy when I forget to add it to their food. My only problem is that it tends to clump together but a good shake and pokes inside the bottle with a knife solves that issue.

This is just a heads up. I am sure this topper works well for some dogs, but I caution you to give a very small amount, smaller than they suggest, to see how your dog reacts to this topper. My dog woke me up in the middle of the night twice to go out, she had diahrrea and then again the next morning, urgent. She is not a tiny dog she is a 32 lbs mini Goldendoodle. She loved the taste of this cheese flavored topper but apparently it is too concentrated for her even in small amounts. I am going back to a pinch of finely shredded Swiss cheese that I gave her on her kibble for a few weeks with no issues. I thought this would be easier...but after getting up the first night, more than once it certainly isnt easy. If you try it, I suggest half of the tsp they suggest or even a quarter tsp. Good luck! It is a great idea, so I am disappointed that it didn't work for me.

My dogs love this stuff on top of their dry dog food. If your dog is picky about dry dog food try this!
