HMFN/20UD/027 2" Buttress x 2" Male NPT Threads w/Gasket Santoprene

I got this to replace the valve on an HDPE IBC tote, so that I could attach standard pipe thread fittings to it. The number of threads is very few, but it seemed to go on well and hopefully will seal tightly. I had to trim some flashing on the threads on the IBC in order to get it to screw on properly, but that's not the fault of these adapters. I removed the original valve completely, and this went on the threads directly molded into the IBC. Outside of major diameter of the male threads this screws on to are 60MM, pitch is 6mm. not sure what the thread angle is, but it's angled on one side, relatively flat on the other side of the thread.

I thought the odd threads on my tank would require cutting off and Jerry rigging I some sort of connection. But this was an great find, and especially not having to order from a website with high minimum purchases. The quality is great, and it's a sch 40 adaptor. Allowed me to plumb regular 2" pipe thread fittings and pvc pipe to my water tank (250gal). It works perfect, shipped fast, and its a great price for a hard to find fitting! Gotta love Amazon!

This thing was perfect. Fit my IBC collection tank perfectly. I used some adapters from Home Depot and connected a faucet to it. Works great. I strongly recommend this product. It is heavy duty and of good construction.

It fits my 275 gallon totes. It doesn't leak. Works as advertised.

NPT treads worked fine, but 2" buttress treads won't work with 2" buttress drum treads

It works lol my husband had me order it and it did the job. Plus was the cheapest we could find here on Amazon.

This adapter worked just fine on my tank. I would recommend it to anyone who needs this type of adapter for their tank.
