Memorex 5mm Slim CD/DVD Jewel Cases - 50 Pack - Clear

I like these cases a lot and have bought them several times. That said, a box of 50 arrived with 5 broken. In my opinion, that's not too bad considering the journey they made through the mail. Just be prepared and don't freak out if a few come to you damaged.

I have found that Memorex is a good source for items like this. The price is right, the quality is good, and Amazon just does things right!! I have been buying from them for years, and have only had one product that had to be exchanged. And, I have bought a lot of the used goods. I have never had a problem with any of them. I remember buying a CD from the used offerings for 1 penny (plus freight]. It was great. Bronn Journey. Remember...you have 30 days to return any defective item...after that you are toast. Al

These cases are excellent - just the right "weight" of slimline case I was looking for. The thing that keeps it from being a 5 star rating is that there was very little to no packaging by the shipper, and as a result 5 of the cases were shattered and completely unusable when I received them. If they had been better packaged with a bit more packing, this would not have happened. I wrote a review on the shipper and explained this, but have had no response from them regarding the damaged cases, or that they would correct the lack of packing in the future. Still waiting on that response. However, the cases themselves are as expected and work well.

I was understandably leery of buying jewel cases online due to the fact that just looking at a jewel case sideways tends to break them let alone having them endure the rigours of shipping etc. I can honestly say I am pleasantly surprised to report not a single one came in with as much as a crack. The cases themselves are packaged in a sturdy cardboard box that eliminates any case breaking rattling etc. The cases seem to be made of a bit thicker plastic than the ones I had before. Overall, if, like me, your local retailers are jacking their prices (staples) or they aren't stocking these anymore (Walmart) you would be well served by these cases. I just put them on a permanent reservation on my wish list to purchase more later when I need them.

Sturdy high quality plastic that opens and closes securely and stays closed. This is not a flimsy cheap jewel case like so many on the market today. Packaged extremely well with no breakage at a very good price.

To save space I put our dvd’s in these. Works great.

We received a 50 pack of original Memorex CD/DVD jewel cases as describe by seller. We are very happy with the new cases. We use them to store our home-made DVDs.

I've just recieved these dvds cover cases,and they are a slight bit thinner than the orginal ones from memorex. As a matter of fact I have one of each in my hand, and the orginal memorex case is a bit thicker. But, I open the cases and they were all there and they were packed very tightly and none were broken. They are not hard to open as someone indicated on another review. They don't come in the Memorex box. Actually, who manufactured these I don't know. Howere, for the price they are not bad at all. I use to order mine from SuperMediaStore.com, item number AC 001 2793. I just might star using these because I save about $11.00 and it takes less space.
