Use caution by venting ozone before entering the room
We bought an older house that was previously owned by a smoker/cat owner. We bought this machine to help remove the odors. The nicotine smell in the walls had been painted over, so that was not all that overbearing, but the cat must have passed gallons of urine onto the carpet (which I threw away) and the wooden subfloor. After using an enzyme cleaner first, we ran this ozone generator for hours at a time while we were at work and then ran fans to blow the ozone out the windows we'd open before re-entering the house. After about two weeks of this, the urine odor was all but eliminated. A big word of caution: the enclosed instructions and several internet videos/articles I saw point out that ozone gas is unhealthy. I can attest that it can irritate the lungs as I had to walk in to turn the machine off and open windows. I could feel the lung irritation although I was only in those rooms for a few seconds at a time until the gas cleared. Another side note: I read that one can use an ozone generator like this to help reduce the smell from a car that has been smoked in, but ozone can oxidize metal more quickly (think of the bare metal under the dashboard and such), so keep that in mind if you want to try clearing the smell from inside an automobile.

Great for sick kiddos
We love to run this in our home whenever we all get sick! It also really helps with the odor of having 3 kids and 2 dogs!

Works great
We were impressed by the effectiveness of this machine after just a few hours of use. For our purpose, the 1-hr range is perfect for our small 14x20’ space.

Stinks
The order it leaves is not ideal. Your home will smell like a hotel room! That is not a decent scent! I hate the smell.
