I have 3 dogs, and I wanted to buy a painting of each of them, but they are expensive to commission. I decided to do a paint by numbers myself instead, and I'm thrilled with the results so far. I ordered just one photo to begin to make sure I liked it. See my photo I submitted and the resulting painting. Overall, the process was fairly easy to follow, but I do have some notes: (1) Some of the shapes have incredibly narrow pieces that make it hard to tell what number applies to a part of the canvas. The included paper map helped me figure those out. (2) Some of the paint colors were a bit watery, so I applied them very thick to make sure the color was right. This looks nice. (3) I made some adjustments after I finished to adjust the colors in a couple places so the picture looks better. I added whiskers to my dog and eye shine. Overall, the end result looks great! Even if you aren't perfectly in the lines, the style of the image is very forgiving. It does take a LONG time to do (I'd guess I spent 10 hours), so I did it over a 2-week period. You need a lot of patience. And sometimes I would look at a color and think it made no sense, but clearly, it came out really pretty, even when there's like... army green in here somewhere?? ;) All this to say, the best thing I can tell you about this product is I liked it enough that I have ordered another for my next dog.

Wow! I am totally impressed with the final results of this project! I wasn't sure what to expect this being my first time painting by number. I have been trying to paint a canvas of my dog and after multiple attempts that just didn't capture her correctly, I opted to try this product. When it arrived, I was surprised at the tedious detailing of the number coded map on the canvas however, it was very simple to follow and execute. It turned out that the creator picked up on all the colors that make up her coat and belly and included 30 different paint colors. And I have to say that from a certain distance, the finished product looks more like a photograph of her. It captures her completely and I absolutely love it--even my husband was impressed! I never would have been able to come up with this on my own and I'm so grateful this product included every detail of the image I sent. Will definitely be looking for more photos to recreate on canvas because I enjoyed it so much! Worth every penny and every minute of time creating this masterpiece!

Some paints may need to be diluted with water on the paint brush to complete some sections. Overall, it was fun and I think it turned out wonderful and my husband thought it was a nice gift! I would definitely do this again from this company.

I love how my painting turned out. This is one of my favorite pictures of my oldest granddaughter. This is the first one I did from this company. I'm just finishing my second one of our oldest grandson and ordered a third of our third grandchild. I plan on ordering more and doing pictures for my three boys and their families of the kids for Christmas. Good thing I'm retired. Definitely a must.

The product itself is awesome! Such a fun activity that’ll keep you busy for hours! I got this for our mom’s paint date and was able to finish just one corner. I took about 2 weeks to get back to it. I completed this within a week but had to take many breaks. I used an AI picture of my girls in a cabana. I think it came out great! I personally have a harder time with eyes so I don’t think I did good on the eyes. I also don’t really like the frame I got, it’s not the best quality but I'm glad it has a frame. That’s where my 4 stars come from. It was a little bit hard to follow the image instructions but overall, I still had so much fun with this! I definitely want to get more.

AS ALWAYS I AM OBSESSED!!! This is my 3rd time having an important photo turned into a Paint By Numbers through Texture Of Dreams-and they never disappoint! The first one was a 30 year old photo of myself and my grandparents, and they did so incredibly wonderful-not only matching the colors, but down to the minor details...had I not painted it, I'd have believed it was a photo, not a painting! The second was for a memorial photo of a friends dog who had passed, that one turned out just as realistic, honestly looked better than the photo-more detail yet again! The one I'm doing now is a surprise yet to be given, but yet again-it's obvious they've gone above and beyond! Zach designed my first two, and Deanna (I think) did this one, they're rockstars and I could forever sing their praises! It is straight forward, they even provide a to scale copy of the painting on regular paper, which makes it easier to discern the smaller numbers or check to make sure I didn't paint the wrong color somewhere. They also provide a "painted" photo copy of the product, to get a visualization of the final product...AMAZING!!! The paint quality is *chefs kiss*! It dries with a gloss sheen which really makes the painting pop, and also helps to see where I've already painted those really light colors, or where I have missed a spot. They also provide 3 brushes for various techniques and detailing-what a wonderful company! The eye and attention to detail is unmatched! They offer many different sizes, which is great because some look better square, or larger, or smaller-I've ordered different every time! Shipping is always well packaged and protected, usually quicker than expected, truly just a great company. A lot of research went into who I decided to use for my first creation, and I am so glad reviews led me to Texture of Dreams!

Great paint by number, the paints were easy to use, brushes good quality. Will purchase again here!

I have done several Paint-by-Number paintings from photographs and this vendor is by far the best I have ever done. The canvas to the paints to the packaging was supplied with great care. Will definitely use for next project!
