I'm a happy camper!
I was worried the most about the condition this would be in since it's being shipped to me from NJ..It came in double boxed and padded. No problems. The guitar looks and plays great! The electronic tuner works just fine and it sounds great plugged in as well as unplugged.

Great guitar, good value,
This is actually my second guitar. I bought a cheap 50 dollar guitar from GuitarCenter ("Rogue"). 1) Don't buy that crap. Everyone makes the same mistake when they first start out and think "Oh I should spend as little as possible and buy a better one later". Do yourself a favor - don't even buy that crappy stuff in the first place. You should look for a solid top guitar if possible because cheap guitars have laminated wood while better guitars are solid tops. Solid tops are generally considered to be much better and all the best guitars have solid top. This guitar is a solid spruce top, which is great and a typical choice for an acoustic. I think it plays pretty well and sounds great. It's not a Taylor or Martin but honestly those brands are so overpriced that you're just paying for the brand's name rather than any quality until you hit at least $1500.Samick is a Korean conglomerate and this is a Greg Bennett edition so a guy named Greg Bennett designed it for them. Honestly, I think it's a pretty good guitar because in addition to the sound, it just feels great and solid. Along with the solid top, you have a mahogany side and back, which FEELS sooo NICE. It just feels sturdy and smooth. The headstock is also pretty cool. There are definitely a lot worse guitars you could buy and this is not one of them. I'd recommend it as a someone who's looking in the 300-450 range. Of course, try out as many guitars as you want and see what you like.

Nice guitar for the money
I own this guitar. It had a couple of minor issues when purchased such as needing a set up and needing the ends of the frets dressed a little. Most inexspensive guitars need this work. Once set up and new Dean Markley strings put on it, this guitar plays and sounds great. It is nice on the eyes with the red striped mahogany sides and the tuners hold a tune well. The fishman electronics work great and the tuner is a bonus. All in all I think this is a pretty good guitar for what it costs. At first I wasn't sure about the headstock design but it has grown on me. I would rate it 5 stars but in all honesty I did have to work on it a few hours to get it where it needs to be. If you know how to do a set up and like to tinker around a bit, I think you will be well pleased.

It has always sounded great, but about 5 years of playing it really ...
I have had this guitar for 12 years and it has treated me extremely well. It has always sounded great, but about 5 years of playing it really started to sound amazing as the wood really broke in (pretty usual for guitars I think). It has a very warm, bassy tone, more akin to Martin than Taylor. Maybe not what people are looking for in recording, but a very pleasant sound for everything else. The preamp/pickup that came in mine was mediocre, but I did not expect much. I'm not sure if the newer models are better. I can honestly say I love my guitar and I have no reason to upgrade, save a better sound when plugging in if I ever wanted that.
