Note: Please read the user manual carefully before use.The reason for the failure of pressing the back cover is that the mold is not suitable. Please re-select a more suitable mold. The bottom mold cannot be much larger than the mirror of the watch.

Really works well and very good value for the price.
This is a really useful kit. I bought it to try to change watch batteries in two of my dad's watches. Before buying this kit dad took his watches to a jewellers. I changed both at home using this kit. The little vice to hold the watch while removing the back is great. No more fear of slicing into your hand with a screwdriver. Theres a tool for taking the back off the watch. The press ,to put the back on again, worked very well. There's also a set of long thin pliers and a small cloth. Instruction leaflet is included too. Altogether very pleased with my purchase and would highly recommend.

Good product
Bought to secure watch backs after removal for battery replacements. Some Backs of watches are a pain to get back on and there is always the fear of cracking the Watch Glass. This is where this product comes in. It has a good choice of sizes of press plates which have 2 sizes (one on each side of the plate). Use the correct size that does not press on the face of the glass ie presses on Watch Casing. Place the protective cloth on the Watch Face to add more protection and place glass down on the bottom press. Choose a press plate that fits the watch back (doesn't have to be exact or the same size as the bottom glass press plate). Then simply close the press and listen for the click. Worked everytime. The only thing I would advise would be be to taper the edge of the Watch Back Remover tool as it is a litlle too thick. No problems so far.

Great product for DIY battery changes
I bought this product as the local jeweller/watch repairer wanted £16 for a battery change, £10.99 for the battery, plus £5 for the service - my watch needs a watch press to close the back case so I would've happily paid the £5, but £10.99 for a battery was ridiculous (they're about £1-2...and people wonder why the high street is in decline).Anyways, I bought this product off Amazon, it arrived a few days later, and 5 minutes spent reading the instructions and choosing the correct dies and my watch was reassembled with a satisfying *click* - quick, easy, and cheap solution which paid for itself with a single use.

Excellent device
This is a well made device. It comes with a good selection of different sized cover cups, which screw onto the device to protect both the front and the back of watches. Once you select the correct sizes to fit your watch then it is just a simple method of placing the watch on top of the bottom holder and pulling down the lever. It's very good. The quality of this device is very good. I have now been able to put the back on two watches and a fob watch.

Efficient and economical
In lockdown we couldn't get to a Timpson's to change our watch batteries. What to do? We didn't want the dead batteries to corrode inside the watches and ruin them. So... onto Amazon to research DIY solutions. We picked this make because it comes with the complete kit required to open the back of a watch, extract the battery, and replace the back of the watch correctly. And the reviews were good. Having opened the watch, we could see the battery type and order it from Amazon for less than £1. It arrived quickly. The kit includes something to hold the watch steady when you remove the back of it: really handy to stop slippage and finger-stabbing when simply holding it in your hand. Next there is every size of disc to match the front and back size of the watch and keep it secure in the press. It made short work of re-fitting the watch back with a satisfying little 'click', when our manual attempts had failed over and again. 5 minutes: done! We're delighted with this purchase. It has already paid for itself, and more, compared to going to T or a jeweler. SO satisfying. (And fun, too!)

Nor Fit For Purpose
Have been changing batteries in watches for years, thought I had everything I needed then came across a pop back. Had the tools to get the back off but didn't realise I needed a specialist tool to pop the back back on. Quick Amazon trawl and came across this, looked like it did the trick. It didn't, the base snapped when pressure was applied to get the back back on - returned for full refund. In summary, not fit for purpose so spend a little more and find something else. Me, I am off to a jewellers for the first time in years to ask them to get the back on!
