Great headphones at an excellent price
I bought these headphones to use exclusively with my PC gaming and video watching. 6 months later, I am still incredibly happy with the purchase. Most of my gaming is solo, so I have not extensively tested the microphone nor really gotten feedback from others as to the quality. I can say that the noise cancellation is fantastic; I can hardly hear anything going on around me when I have these on (which is saying something since I live less than 1/2 mile from any AFB runway with fighter jets taking off constantly) and the sound quality is wonderful. I have a larger head and was concerned that these would be too tight; however, they have been very comfortable, both around the ears as well as not feeling too tight and giving me a headache. The adjustable band is also reinforced with a metal band, strengthening them - I have a set of Turtle Beach Stealth 600 Gen 2 for Xbox purchased at the same time without this reinforcement that I just had to replace because the band broke. I hope these will last for a long time; however, at this point, I would definitely look to purchase another set when it comes time to replace these. Very impressed and would highly recommend for an excellent price. UPDATE: The band broke on these with stress fractures in two points almost 18 months after the initial purchase. I ended up ordering another set of these, and they seemed significantly smaller based on the squeeze they put on my head - within a couple of minutes, I had a killer headache. I have ended up returning them. If ordering in early 2023, note that I believe the sound quality was just as good, but if you have a big head, probably look elsewhere even if these previously worked for you. If you're on the smaller side, I would still recommend these, especially for the price.

Good and affordable option for a gaming headset with a mic
First off I have to say that the sound quality is pretty good, using this on PC I'm not exactly sure if I'm taking advantage of the surround sound features within games, but regardless it has good sound quality for the price. Second, the mic built into this headset is actually pretty good. Originally when I was looking around for a new gaming headset a few months ago I was prepared to invest a lot of money in a headset that not only had good sound quality, but a good mic. A lot of the more expensive headsets like the Razer Kraken seemed cool but didn't exactly have the best reviews when it came down to the mic. This headset on the other hand is a much cheaper option and along with that you get a pretty good mic. This is a noticeable upgrade from my last headset mic especially when speaking in discord, this works pretty great for that. Your friends may hear some of the background conversations or voices around you, but oddly they weren't able to hear a movie or music blasting in the background. Along with Discords implemented noise suppression feature you can't really go wrong with this headset. It may not be 100% top of the line or even a name brand, but I have to say your getting a lot more than what you're paying for, this being a very affordable $30 headset. Another thing to mention is that this headset has a little bit of a tighter fit, if you have a larger head like I do this is something to be aware of, but saying that I was still able to get used to it relatively quickly and is pretty comfortable now because it has good earpads. The LED option is also pretty cool since there's a button to turn it on and off. On the same little control panel located along the wire there is a mic muting option, volume slider, and mic volume/sensitivity slider. For it's good price, good sound quality, good mic, and it's sturdy build I can definitely recommend purchasing this headset.

Pretty decent for budget headset
comfort: this headset is actually very comfortable. The material they use for the headband and for the ears is very comfortable and soft. I can wear it for long amounts of time and it feels great. The ear pads to block out a bit of the surrounding noise but you can still hear people talking to you if you don't have audio playing through them. Microphone: it says the microphone is noise canceling which is half true. I tested this using audacity and recording some voice samples with parakeets squeaking in the background and then I tested the TV playing while speaking. You can still hear the background noise but compared to your voice it's pretty low. If you are going to try to use these for a call center or something like that you would still be able to hear people talking in the background. The software you can install with this headset does come with some extra noise canceling features although when you turn them on it just makes your voice sound more robotic and you can still hear the background noise. This microphone does work well with speech recognition though despite still picking up on the background sounds. Compared to my last headset which was Astro A-10s the microphone does a much better job at reducing the background noise. It also sounds pretty good as far as quality as well. The software does come with some effects you can change your voice with. I haven't used them much but it's a nice feature to be included. Sound quality: out-of-the-box the sound quality is pretty decent. I noticed everything sounds pretty good except for women's voices that are high pitch which sounds a little muddy. Once I installed the software and messed with the equalizer I was able to get the sound to be pretty impressive all the way around even with a higher pitch noises. The presets that come with the software though sound pretty horrible so you probably want to tune it manually. It also comes with some audio effects like underwater or concert hall which is nice it's included although some soundcards already do this so you might or might not find it useful. Conclusion: Overall for a budget headset the quality is pretty good. It actually sounds much better than the Plantronics rig I recently purchased which is in the same price range but from a much more recognizable brand. The sound is also quite loud that you won't need to turn them up to 100% before your ears start bleeding. So to wrap it up, the microphone is pretty decent and the sound quality is pretty good with some adjustments.

Awesome Headset!
(FTC #ad) The seller reached out to me via email about this item and as a gamer and a youtuber (OSP FL yt channel) I haven't had a good headset in years. I had one by Audio-technica and it started to fall apart within the first year and it would leave whate leather looking stuff in my hair and hurt my head. I have a very tender/sensitive head so when I saw all of the padding on this I was awestruck. I also love the fact that the cord has the fabric over it. Its a heavy duty cord, easy to use, plug and play. The sound is amazing and so is the mic. I used it all weekend editing while my dad was 2 desks over from me gaming. It was nice to use for voiceover parts on my video's and it was comfortable to wear for hours before my head started to hurt, and well I had to get up anyways. I like the LED lights on the sides of each headphone it makes it pretty to look at as well as functional. Even if a person stands next to you with these on they can not hear what you are listening to and if they talk to you when you just have them on its very hard to hear them. These are comfortable to wear, noise canceling, and nicely padded. I love the ease of use feature and I was glad the seller asked me if I would test these out. I can't wait to show them off on Twitch. I was so busy editing this weekend I didn't get much gaming in. I will probably record a video review of these as well for my channel and when I get the video uploaded I will post the video clip on here as well. Edit: I still use these. I've been asked by other companies to review their headphones and I have to be honest and say these work better. They do hurt my head about 3 hours into wearing them, but I have a very sensitivity head, and the weight of the headphones on my head is what causes me pain. All headphones cause this issue even the ones from the 90's that were super cheap and thin, so its not just this brand.

Excellent Sound and Comfort!
I’m really impressed with this headset! The sound quality is crisp and clear, with deep bass that makes games and music sound amazing. The microphone works perfectly—my friends say my voice comes through loud and clear. It’s super comfortable to wear, even for long gaming sessions, and the USB connection makes setup easy. The RGB lighting is a nice bonus too. Definitely worth it for the quality and price!

Broke after 1 year - uncomfortable - good sound
I bought these to replace another budget headset. SOUND: 8/10 - I am not an audiophile but I could tell a marked improvement in sound when I replaced my other budget headset. I never had any issues with static, popping, disconnects or imbalances. Surround sound was not tested, as gaming headsets don't really use 7.1 surround like a home theater system would. Look at LinusTechTips video on whether surround sound in gaming headsets is actually worth it, but the answer is: not really. MICROPHONE: 8/10 - Never had complaints from friends about my volume or about sounding muffled or distorted. COMFORT: 4/10 - The headband was comfortable, I rarely noticed it unlike my old headset which was painful. Unfortunately the ear cups weren't very comfortable, the headset has a pretty strong clamp so my ears and temples would ache after a couple of hours of use, even when I extended the headband to max length. I have an average size head and slightly larger than average ears. They also trapped heat to some degree although it wasn't as bad as other headsets I've used. NOISE CANCELLATION: 9/10 - They cancel noise really well, I can't hear when someone is asking me a question even if they're in the same room as me unless I am not listening to anything at the time. This also keeps the audio from leaking out and into the microphone. I never had friends complain about hearing my game audio. DURABILITY: 2/10 - As you can see, the plastic broke after 1 year of use. I dropped them from the desk to a carpeted floor a couple of times but that's not what broke them, I think they broke just from repeatedly picking them up from the desk by one cup instead of picking them up by the headband and the torsion wore the plastic down over time. It's a shame these aren't more comfortable and durable I'd certainly recommend them if they were because the sound and mic work great and I never had technical problems with them, but I can't recommend them because of the discomfort and poor durability. If you have a small head and small ears and handle them gingerly they might be perfect for you. I'm going to spend a little more money and buy a HyperX Cloud headset to replace them with.

A Great Gaming Headset!
This is my first time purchasing a gaming headset of this caliber and I have to say I'm blown away at the sheer quality of the sound. That may be in part that what I used before was some outdated garbage, but I have tried other headsets among with my friends and some of them had been quite lacking. The cushions of the are extremely comfortable and after wearing them for several hours I nearly forgot they were on my head. The sound quality is extraordinary, I am able to hear precise sound cues in games like Overwatch or R6: Siege in the exact direction they come from without issue. The microphone easily adjustable physically and doesn't have any wind feedback (unless you try your absolute hardest to blow air onto the microphone). As for the mic functionality, my voice comes out very clearly in game as well as in 3rd part voice programs. A couple of small nitpicks however, for one the microphone doesn't pick up your voice if you speak too quietly. No more mumbling to your teammates my friend, you gotta project that voice a little further than your chin. Another small nitpick is the volume control is a bit heavy, I said earlier in my review that I nearly forgot I was wearing the headset but what made me realize it was still on my head was the volume control dangling and weighing my left ear down a slight bit. That said, it does have a clip on it to attach to your clothing to eliminate that issue. Overall a great product, absolute bang for your buck if you're looking for a gaming headset but don't want to shell out massive dosh for the big name brands. My two small nitpicks really get outweighed by the positive features of this product and both are very easily solved from the user's side. Don't hesitate, get this headset!

These are good but have a really really annoying feature about them.
Ok.. so they list these headphones at 48 dollars but I got them for 22 dollars without shipping... (which was 8 bucks with a xbox 1 controller I also got..) so at that price... they just have to last a few months and not be total crap to be worth 5 stars to me... I would be nitpicking alot harder if I payed more for this.. and probably just outright returned them. but at 22 bucks Over all they are ok and have good sound.. I'm not noticing anything that sounds crackling... or the sound cutting out as some uses have complained about.. I have owned these now about a week now.. and I would say, It's consistent and sounds good, and for someone with really good hearing like me, that in itself really says alot about the ear phones... I can clearly hear most things played though them.. and people I talked to have no complaint about how I sound... the only thing I have not tested is how good are they for survival games, but with the sound I heard so far.. it could be good... So if that is a thing for you I cannot help you out with that... I suspect all the reason I have for this is the USB cable means the sound never has to deal with the computer case like a 3.5 jack does.. for whatever reason the 3.5 inch jack to my computer has issues with the case resonating sound from the fans though the audio... So its just a better option in my case to use a USB headphone instead of a 3.5 set. One thing I noticed they no sound insulation in these head phones. I can still hear the cat sleeping in the box next to my desk... People walking around the house are vary easy to hear. And boy can I still vary clearly hear my computer humming when the sound is off. The sound from the space heater... Nothing is stopped just because you put these ear muffs on.. there is no sound insulation in these things at all... So they are not vary well sound proofed.. suspect this is why the sound is not amazing... But I personally like how that means I don't have to yank these off to let someone talk to me. I just need to stop the sound... but If you just want to cancel out noises around you while you work... your going to need to resort to actually playing music with them.. The build quality over all looks good. I suspect I will get a year of use out of these easily provided I don't do something stupid like walk away from the computer wearing them. I really like how the cord has braiding over it and it comes with a velcro cable tie. The cushioning is nice and thick with some fairly soft vinyl fabric that might be unpleasant in summer to have pressed to my head. It's cool enough right now where I don't see it as a issue but I have found this plastic to become annoying to use in summer time when it gets hot out. The only other issue with the Cushioning is if comes loose, I probably will have to throw out the headphones then... but to the credit of the makers... it looks like they are well enough made that I won't have to worry about that.. That is some nice details I love about these things. Since its just me using these things and maybe the cat to mess with them.. (and No, she does not eat cables..) I don't see these ever being damaged outside of me brain farting or dropping them. The thing I would worry most about is the thin metal band with plastic around it method of construction is far from perfect, and there is a reason why you seen these only on Under 50 dollar headphones. So try to be careful with these if you get them... Next these things... are comfortable... enough... I personally find them a little heavy.. which is a surprise considering how easily you can hear other sounds that exist from outside of them.. The cushion on them is really good but they still clamp onto my head crushing my glasses into the side of my head making them kinda uncomfortable to use for over a 2 hours if I'm not fully into my gaming experience. (If you wear glasses you will probably not like these.. but then again you will hate just about every headphone like this on the market then. they all crush glasses arms into the side of your head. That's just a given with headphones. I suspect if I did not wear glasses I would find them alot more comfortable otherwise.. ) I tried to combat this some by make the loop for them bigger and then wearing them at a angle.. so the band is pointed forward and resting on the front top of my head while the rest is on my ears... this helps some since the band is not exerting as much pressure on my glasses arms... but its not perfectly comfortable either... your tolerance for discomfort will vary... and this is part of the reason why I think its a 3 star product.. Aside from being poor comfort for me, (someone that has to deal with this on all headphones because of glasses... I hate is the stupid control box on the cord. Everything else at this price was surprisingly good, or tolerable... but This stupid oversize box is why I'm reviewing these headphones.. Why is this thing so big and so annoying to have on the cord!? Its like having a battery box that rubs on your arm, and snuggle its jacked shape into your armpit when your trying to play game.. I really don't see why this thing could not be integrated into the actual headphone part, or just come with a control box that not the size of a small animal. I ended up putting the cord around the headphones and then clipping it to headphones themselves to resolve the issue making headphones just slightly less annoying.. This is not perfect.. but it beats having the box try to slide into my armpit while playing games.. As for anything else... I like the led lights on the side.. Its gimmicky... but for though that stupid huge button to turn them on and off is why the cord dongle has to be so big and annoying.. they could not of had the button and just let the color strip be a feature to let me know I have them plugged in. That would of been great.. but now.. stupid huge button for the gimmick feature.. 3 stars So I would not buy these earphones again.. but I do feel like most people at this price point of 20-25 dollars would find this to be excellent value.. I personally just find them not comfortable enough to recommend them.. but also know a big issue for me is the fact I wear glasses... So its going to be hard for me to find anything that works as long as there is a big ear cushion around the edge... but the thing the makers could do.... is not make a huge control box that rides up into my armpit.. that is just intolerable. Edit 001: in my previous review around March 25, 2020, I gave this product a 3 stars and though it was kinda Meh.... but now It has now been about a month that I ordered these headphones and actually I am find them far more comfortable now looped some of cord from the headphone to the control box, in the belt loop on the control box. This brings the control box that was up to my shoulder, and keeps it out of my armpit. As for the issue with headphone pressing on my glasses arms, I finding that I gotten used to it over time and now am far more comfortable to wear over long periods of time. With these two big issues resolved I think this a set of headphones I would purchase again provided they last a year or two. But one bad thing I am noticing is I wish the mic would shut itself off if you pushed up and out of the way instead of having to switch off a tiny switch on the controller box. Aside from this.. they still sound great and if you can get them for 22 dollars they are worth the purchase. But I suspect not what they are sold out that they might go for a premium since the reviews for this have gotten pretty glowing and they are a #1 best seller at the time of this edit, on April 23, 2020.

Nice headset
The sounds is good and works nicely with discord - friends said my mic was more clear than before. It feels a big big for my head but is very comfortable. For reference: This is my first relatively expensive headset and much better than the other cheep headsets I've had before and I have a rather small head thus it feels and looks a bit too big for me.

great value headset for the money
TL;DR Does everything you need it to do but lack a little bit in bass. -- At just under $50 for this headset you can’t really go wrong. It’s super comfy, got really cushy ear pads and a solid head rest. It’s adjustable in height and you can move the microphone thing. The sound quality is good. More than what I’d expect for the price point but the thing that does stand out is that the bass sounds like it’s clipping but it’s not a deal-breaker for me. It’s plug and play, works right out the box, although it’s a USB-A Connector so keep that in mind if you’re a solely USB-C or lightning kinda person. The cord is also about 2 meters so if your PC tower is kinda far this might not be the headset for you. On the cord are inline controls which I find super important cause you can adjust the volume, microphone volume and toggle your mic. I thought we’d be able to control the noise cancelling but it’s always on so that could get uncomfortable for some people. The big LED button is to just control the lights so don’t get fooled like me. my dog was like running around, crying and playing in the background and you can only hear him sometimes so I’d say the mic is pretty decent. but with everything being so expensive right now. You’re obviously not getting top-tier stuff but this is pretty good quality for what its worth.
