Pricey, But Worth It
Amaco Velvet Underglazes, with few exceptions, are true to color and fire well. I especially like their smooth consistency and the fact that they're mixable. I always use a coat or two of Speedball clear to avoid running and smearing of the colors. These plates are made with porcelain clay and GR Pottery Forms molds.

This underglaze has gotten really expensive but the price on this site was the best I found. I have used this underglaze for years. It turns out a very nice color. I highly recommend this seller and this underglaze.
