I just purchased one for $52.00 but only to see now that it sells for over $18.00. Am I missing something?

Well, technically, $52.00 is over $18.00, so you already knew it was over $18.00 when you paid $52.00.

Just ordered this product but while it mentions "free shipping" ,i actually had to pay over €8 to have it shipped to France . Why is this ?

made in USA shipped outside the USA in my opinion is a more accurate response

Will this fit INSIDE the ear canal to trim the hairs?

Yes but it helps to have someone else trim your ear hair. Nose hair can be done solo w/o any problem. I found it hard to get the correct angle to trim ear hair by myself. My wife was able to get the correct angle easily.

Does this work for trimming earlobes and around the ears?

It does. It works very well for trimming in ears... I do use it on the outside of the ears, and it works, but not as well as tweezers.
