It’s been a powerful, reliable tool with a crisp color screen, long battery life, and great support for graphing, statistics, and Python programming. The included PC/Mac student software was helpful for transferring work to a larger screen. It still works smoothly after three years. After using the TI-Nspire CX II graphing calculator for a while, I can safely say that it is one of the best choices for those searching for graphing calculators. The operating system is packed with features, including notes, spreadsheets, a geometry tool and more. Its key differentiator is the document system, which allows for you to share calculations and variables across different pages. Graphing functions is much faster on the Nspire than on calculators like the TI-84 Plus. However, I think that the OS is a little inefficient; it takes many steps to do basic tasks. For example, when you turn on the calculator, you need to press a button before being able to do any calculations, and you need to access a menu for trig functions instead of them having their own buttons. In terms of the device, there is a trackpad, which distinguishes it from others by allowing quicker navigation. The dedicated alphabetical keyboard at the bottom is helpful and supports standard computer keyboard shortcuts like CTRL+C and CTRL+V. The keys have a pleasant feeling and are placed well. Potential buyers should note that there is also a more expensive "TI-Nspire CX II CAS" model, which can perform certain algebraic calculations on its own. However, unlike this calculator, the CAS model is not permitted on some major exams like the ACT. All in all, the TI-Nspire CX II is an excellent choice for those who need a powerful graphing calculator.

I bought this graphing calculator for a high school kid as a Christmas gift. Her math teacher required it for her IB math class. This calculator definitely is a top-tier choice. Except for the cost, I don’t see any other disadvantages.

It works with all the tests requirements, but I really do think this is horribly expensive for a limited calculator no matter how fancy it is, I had something similar 20 years ago and cost nearly the same, these things should be ditt cheap by now

This calculator is amazing! The battery life is great and lasts a few days without charging. I was a bit skeptical at first about the price but definitely worth the money. The calculator is smooth and is easy for my son to take to and from school. First, the battery. It lasts my son the whole week at school without needing to charge it, and it doesn’t take long for it to charge back up again. Second, it is very user friendly. My son uses it for his algebra and chemistry classes and it has been a must have for him to be able to get his homework done and to do complicated problems. Overall a great calculator, it works smoothly and was definitely worth the price!

This calculator is amazing saves formulas and documents perfect scientific calculator. It’s rechargeable as well.

For my daughter, she wanted to buy it for her math class. There are cheaper ones but this is so convenient and much worth to buy it.

Love graphing ability, instant modifications can allow you to perceive the graphing effect.
