Old Country Roses 20-Piece Dinnerware Set

It is beautiful but one thing scary happen .when diliverdin wrong address ۔they saw the address and phoen number call that people I send wedding gift .and they got it .

My wife was dreaming of this set of china for a very long time. The fact that there are so many complementary sets to go with it means that over time it can be turned into a very complete set of special occasion china that can be handed down through multiple generations. It's also nice that individual pieces can be purchased to replace the occasional broken piece. My only criticism is with how the china is packed. The packing is not very good and of the two sets we purchased, one of them had a broken teacup. Amazon was very good about sending out a new set right away, however, it came with a broken saucer so I had to mix and match between the two broken sets to get one complete set and then ship back the broken set. The only trouble for me was just having to swap pieces and take the broken set to the UPS store to ship back to Amazon. However, it would probably save Amazon quite a bit in replacement expense not to mention improve the customer experience, if the packaging was better designed to protect the china through any rough handling. This would include individually wrapping teacups and plate stacks in paper/bubble wrap and slipping a piece of cardboard between each plate.

I am a new collector of the Royal Albert Old Country Roses. I have a set of eight place setting that are made in England. After much debate and reading all the reviews on the OCR made in Indonesia, I bought this from Amazon and Silver Spoon Store. I want to say that I am no expert on China or glazes, just a consumer. The set arrived in Royal Albert Boxes, packaging was outstanding, all items were in perfect condition, nothing broken or chipped. I noticed that the glaze is different compared to the made in England Set. The made in England set is completely smooth, the set made in Indonesia, you can feel the pattern slightly. The pink roses on the made in Indonesia are a slightly richer color too, which I have to say, I like better. I think that this is a wonderful set and if you have doubts, buy it, you will not be sorry. It is truely a beautiful set.

you get your moneys worth but I had one plate that was broken, could improve securement of everything with a lot more bubble wrap. I bought this as a Christmas gift for my mom but was sadden to see I had a broken plate.

Item arrived in pristine condition. Was well packaged and delivered on time. Not one single chip or broken dish. Was very much pleased with this purchase.

The set is very nice, however shipping seems to be a nightmare. I have ordered the set twice now and on both occasions it has arrived with at least one broken piece.

Got this for my lovely wife, Linda, for Christmas. She already has setting for eight people, but needed four more settings for our family Christmas dinner. "Royal Albert" arrived on time, except I had to force Linda to open it Christmas Eve so we could wash and get them set down properly (like Downton Abbey?) before the kids and grand-kids arrived the next morning. Made Linda and I feel like Britain Aristocracy, sipping our coffee with cups edged with 22 carat-gold, using a saucer edged with 22 carat-gold also to support the cup. We even got a picture of me in my long undies trying the imitate "aristocracy" while having coffee. One of the large plates was broken when arrived due to careless handling. We used the smaller plates for the grand-kids so there was no real disaster. When we advised Amazon the next day of the broken plate, we thought they would just send us another one. Instead they sent a complete new set with instructions to return the "old" set along with the broken dish. We also sent a note and advised that placing a bunch of FRAGILE---GLASS stickers on the outside would help. There was nothing on the packing box to indicate that the contents were fragile. Anyway, Linda has a beautiful, gorgeous set of "Old Country Roses" Dinnerware that she has placed in a china cabinet that gives her great comfort to look at while in the kitchen. Thank you Amazon... you made me look good again! Ye Olde Road Warrior

Con los platos no hubo ningún problema. Imposible diferenciarlos de otros que tengo made in England (esta vajilla es made in Indonesia). Ahora, las tazas.... 4 tazas y 4 tamaños diferentes. Casi 2mm. de la más grande a la más pequeña. Diferencias apreciables a simple vista. El asa de una de ellas desproporcionada en comparación con el resto. Y la rosa grande en todas ellas con un tono muy sospechoso y con muy poco detalle. La he devuelto. Amazon de 10, como siempre.

Prodotto di estrema qualità imballato pessimamente, senza indicazioni come "fragile" o almeno "alto" e "basso" sullo scatolo esterno, dentro senza alcuna traccia di carta o pluriball per proteggere gli oggetti, ovviamente molti dei quali rotti, è vero che li restituiscono, ma questo crea disagio soprattutto in caso di regali....
