Works perfect
I thought it a little pricey. Nothing special, but what makes it a good choice is the app that makes all the necessary settings for the inner workings of "Winders" OS. I've done it both ways and this is better, especially with Micro$oft's never ceasing effort to mask and obfuscate where they hid those settings with each release.

Don't Buy
Junk Chinese-made. Too much of a hassle to connect to some Chinese site.

Works great!
It took me a couple of tries to set it up. But once installed I was able to hookup my old school HP Laser printer as a network printer.

Makes my older usb printers easy to network
No built in wifi but no problem if you can run a wire from router to the print server. Or You can buy a wifi extender and connect it to it if you need to be wireless. I had to change the ip address in the X-Media to one of my local router addresses (example 192.168.1.37) to get it to communicate properly in my local network.

Easy to setup and use
Was easy to set it up with a HP color laserjet CM1015. Was using it in about 10 minutes. Connected 4 computers to it and no issues. Even turning the printer off, to save on power use, then power on of the printer I had no issue printing to it. Definitely worth it. Wondering now why I took so long to buy it.

Works well if you can get past the poorly written user manual, Instructions and initial settings
In frustration I left seller feedback indicating that it wouldn't work. Then I tried again and after a reset my printer spat out a page with an IP address that was out of range for my router. This suggested that I must now reconfigure my router with a smart home network of over 40 different elements, locks, lights, smart TVs ,wireless printers, security DVRs, etc to match its arbitrarily selected IP address so that I could connect to it to configure. The manufacturer does not provide service on weekends or after hours. There was no one to contact for assistance. Instead I got a port emulator, connected an Ethernet from my laptop to the device and reconfigured my local IP address to be on its IP scheme to be able to contact the device. Now I saw a home page and quickly changed the IP to my network and reverted my laptop. Only then did it actually work. The manual assumed that everyone uses 192.168.0.x/16 and if somehow you don't its setup program won't even display an error it just won't run. From there it worked well and I finally got my old but ever reliable HP OJ 4575 to join my hoe network so that I can print wirelessly to it. Its a useful product but required way too much thinking to get it to work. I am a Cisco, Microsoft, Checkpoint, etc. certified and I shouldn't have to go though so much for such a simple device. The configuration had a DHCP option. If only the manufacturers chose to make this the default then It would have been perfect. After an arduous configuration it works well at a 5 star level. But the crappy instructions and poor setup experience and limited support brings my assessment down to a generous 3.

Wrong power supply in the box for UK
No idea if this actually works as it is supplied with an America power supply transformer and not a european (or, better yet, a UK) supply. The box that contains the device has a "CE" mark which suggests that it conforms to european safety rules. Perhaps it would be a good idea to state which type of power supply is in the box as this will not work in the UK without an UK specific power supply. Update: they did not even need to provide a power supply as the requirements are simply 5 Vdc, 1A positive tip - all they needed to provide was a basic USB cable and a piece of paper stating the voltage and current requirements. It has cost me quite a bit to make this thing work properly. UPDATE 2 : it has very poor network firmware. Suggest you DO NOT BUY THIS PIECE OF JUNK. Instead, buy a cheap raspberry pi and configure CUPS - much more reliable.
