Works Well – Helped Stop a Minor Leak
I used the Prestone AS262 Power Steering Fluid with Stop Leak on my older vehicle that had a small power steering leak, and it made a noticeable difference. After adding the fluid, the noise reduced, steering felt smoother, and the leak slowed significantly over the next few days. For fixing leaks, not for new pumps
Only a last ditch ditch effort for leaks, ie don't use this in a new pump! This might work out for a small air gap in a very old car, or a high mileage car, or just a bad water pump- but don't buy this product if you have a new water pump... just get the OEM fluid is the whole point of writing this review. This brand might have normal power steering fluid- but this here, is the last ditch effort for fixing leaks or noise but I would not recommend for a new pump.
